"Good day I would love to start of by saying we as the Ressouw family who stayed at the Lodge on the 6th of December 2024 to the 8th of December 2024 are truly great full for the service, we received at the city lodge Bloemfontein. The staff was exceptional with big smiles and welcoming personalities the service and rooms were in tip top, the pool area was perfect as well as the weather. We could not have asked for better accommodation. The food and accommodation was perfect. My daughter enjoyed her with the variety of pizza on the menu but for her the pool and pool area she enjoyed the most. I would like to end off by saying thank you to the manage and exceptional staff who made us feel so welcome. I can't remember her name but she was on duty the 8th of December 2024 dayshift please could you thank her and all your staff for us. It's very thoughtful of her that went the extra mile making out last day very welcoming and unforgettable. We can't wait to plan our next trip"

"Never book with Agoda travel Agents NEVER. We booked at this guesthouse while traveling thru Agoda, the guesthouse replied immediatly that they are fully booked, Agoda ignored the email, and still debit the amount from bank card, we arrived just to find out they fully booked, we were stranded and had to drive in the middle of the night to our next destination. Since the 28 of March 2026 we try to get a refund from Agoda with no luck. I went on facebook and there are litteraly 100 and 100 of people that lost money to Agoda due to this bad service. So please dont make the same mistake and loose money to Agoda scammers. Booking never took place because fulle booked, but i paid for it. Invoice attached"

The room was quiet and sleeping was no problem. The shower room though a bit small was perfectly adequate. Breakfast provided fruit and yoghurt as well as cereals. Hot breakfast was cooked to order and very nicely done. I am looking forward to staying here again on my next visit to South Africa."

Bien que nous insistions sur le fait que le paiement avait déjà été effectué, elle a refusé de faire notre check-in sans que nous payions encore. Sans 4G au moment et sans le mot de passe de l'hôtel Wi-Fi, nous payons de nouveau les journaux, en espérant qu'il y aura un retour des valeurs doubles si le malentendu est éclairci. Nous attendons jusqu'à ce jour le remboursement. Quasi 5 mois. Ils ne répondent plus à nos liens."

It is very close to the N1 highway to be back on the road in 5 minutes in the morning, but secluded enough not to hear a single car at nigh. Truly the best of both worlds.
