We had to change our hotel at the last minute due to airline changes which threw us into looking for something closer to the airport. The hotel is 10 minutes from the airport but it’s designed for someone who is staying in the area for longer periods of time than 1 night. It was a clean hotel with no breakfast. When one is in a hurry, they need that breakfast. Our room was clean but not very comfortable. Our door was hard to open and close. The toilet was too low! And they only had queen size beds which as too soft. Could hear traffic noise, as well.

Nasty odor in elevator/hallway. We found two stink bugs in room. The sheets for pull out sofa were dingy and stained. Coffee in lobby was horrible. The staff was very friendly, but this is a run down accommodation and I don’t plan to return or recommend.

Needed to find hotel close to airport since I had a real early flight and prefer to stay in the hotel next to airport but it was booked solid. Searched and Candlewood Suites guaranteed me the shuttle would leave at 4 am while other I checked could not. Room was clean and large with kitchenette I did not need and bed was comfortable and large bathroom. Only 6 minute walk to Ruby Tuesday's for drinks and meal and quiet at night for good nights sleep. Free coffee in lobby in the morning and right at 4 am the driver said we could go. No issue and got to airport early like I needed.

The good part is the staff is super friendly. Sadly it stops there. The Lobby is run down and and dirty. The carpet is blue, and I am sure it has been a good while since vacuumed. The room was filthy. Poop on the toilet seat. There are other hotels close by stay there!

The first room they gave me smell of urine so much that I had to move to another room. The next morning I went to look at the pool. I had purchased a new swim suit and had invited a friend to join me for a swim that afternoon. When I saw the pool I couldn't believe my eyes. It had black algae all around the entire pool. See pictures. I complained at the front desk. They got the maintenance man outside to look and he told me the black algae was because "it rained last night and he hadn't had time to clean the pool yet. I told him that algae didn't get there overnight. He tried arguing with me to the point that I had to tell him to SHUT UP! The next day the pool was locked. I filed a complaint with the health department. Today I was stopped by hotel staff telling "the health department did their inspection and the pool is fine" and "the black algae won't make people sick". I told the pool has been NEGLECTED and that it needs to be cleaned. She shook her head no disagreeing with me. I told her I'm not going to argue with her. I'm not. Here are pictures of the pool.

We stayed over 4 days. Upon arrival our room had no toilet paper and smelled musky. After turning the air on it seemed to help. The hallway still had an odd smell which never got better within our stay. Each day we had to go down and get fresh towels. There were no door hangers to hang out for maid service. Our room door wouldn’t shut all the way unless you lifted up on the door or slammed it with extreme force. If your coffee pot worked, there were no creamer, sugar packets or cups. Trash cans were over flowing outside the doors. Prices have went up but the quality has not reflected this.

Just checked in and received our room. The room had been smoked in and heavily. We went back to the reception and learned that this was their last room. After a sorry and try our neighbors we left. Just wandering how a cleaned room can still be heavily smoked in without someone noticing this:( Well, kids are tired and so am I. Heading to the neighbors!!

Call them and they'll pick you up from the airport and also drop you off. I got placed here by United due to a flight delay. The rooms themselves are clean and spacious but the hallways could use some garbage removal and vacuuming. You can walk to chain restaurants but be careful since there's no sidewalk. Closed thing to a convenience store is a gas station 15 minutes away by walking. Staff is helpful though.
