Look at the picture: you´ll get what you see. A small luxury hotel with only ten rooms and two suites located in a quiet place on the most western part of the lake. We had a spacious room including king size beds with the best (hard) mattresses that I have experienced for years at hotels, a balcony directed to the garden side with partial view over the lake including table and two chairs and an interior of the room in line with the photos on the website of the hotel. The only thing I missed inside our room was a refrigerator, although we were invited to change the offered beverages to cold ones. The breakfast service is (unfortunately) seldom: no buffet here; you order from a breakfast menu that the friendly staff introduce and explain what is special, eg the white sausages. High quality breakfast. The restaurant is situated to the lake side with a beautiful view over the lake, and it was a pleasure having dinner twice at the restaurant during our four-night stay. If you like swimming and cold lake water, you can use the bathing hut of the hotel as a starting point and borrow towels by the serviceminded receptionist in the hotel. Enjoy!

If it had not been explained by the owner, you would guess this is a historic hotel overlooking the Bodensee See. At a very quiet and exclusive corner of the lake in Bormann (home and castle of the Baron von Bodmam), it is a special place. However the owner built this hotel in a low scale complex of very high end apartments, but they all fit beautifully into a landscaped historical context. The hotel is small and beautiful and features a widely known Michelin starred restaurant. The views of the lake are wonderful.

Liked · Location is wonderful, and the breakfast experience on the sunny morning, overlooking the lake was fantastic! (so that the food and the service!). Room was spacious, and even it was facing the backyard, we still love it and the modern feel and comfort it offered, plus a very large terrace. The hotel is very fresh and modern, reception was ultra friendly at both check-in and check-outs. We booked this place as in-transit overnight, between doing Mainau island the day one, and then going to Rheinfalls Swiss on day two - and it was super comfortable and convinient stop-over..! Disliked · We weren't able to book the hotel's restaurant for the dinner, so they suggested another one, down path to the lake - it was so-so, and while no issues with food (tasty!), the service was mediocre. Not the hotel fault, of course, just mentioning for the future guests. The parking was a bit tricky to find, so we used street parking 300m meters further (was lucky to find the space!). I didn't understood how to use hotel garage and there is absolutely no space to park in front of the hotel entry, even for a couple of minutes.

Sehr freundliches Personal.Saubere Zimmer und auch das Bad ist sauber. Frühstück am Tisch man bekommt alles was man möchte. Blick auf den Bodensee. Tiefgarage sehr gut. Leider hat das Restaurant im Haus zu. Aber drumherum gibt es ja auch paar schöne lokale

Wir waren kurz nach Weihnachten zu Besuch in diesem Hotel und wir waren in allen Belangen absolut glücklich und zufrieden. Freundliches Personal vom Empfang bis Küche, herrliche Zimmer, alles auf höchstem Niveau. Liebevoll gestalteter Wellnessbereich und ein tolles Restaurant zum Abendessen und Frühstücken.

Ein modernes, mit Stil eingerichtetes Hotel am Bodensee. Sehr schöne Lage mit Blick auf den See. Schöne große und helle Zimmer mit begehbaren Schrank, Bad mit Fenster und schöner Terrasse bzw. Balkon. Es fällt sofort die positive Stimmung im Hotel auf. Chefin, Chef, Personal, Zimmermädchen ＞＞＞ alle sind sehr angenehm freundlich (nix Aufgesetztes wie man es oft erlebt) und super hilfsbereit. Was mir persönlich sehr gefällt ＞＞＞ es gibt kein Frühstücksbuffet sondern man wird individuell bedient und es blieben für unsere Gruppe keine Wünsche offen. Ein weiterer, sehr positiver Aspekt. Das Hotel hat eine super Tiefgarage mit sehr flacher Einfahrt die auch von sehr flachen und tiefen Fahrzeugen problemlos befahrbar ist.

Top Hotel Wir waren im Februar 4 Nächte in diesem Hotel. Von der Ankunft, Frühstück (wird a la carte serviert) war es ein toller Kurzurlaub. Wunderschöne Zimmer mit Blick auf den Bodensee, freundliche kompetente Mitarbeiter und eine hervorragende Frühstückslocation.Dieses Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Meine Frau und ihre beste Freundin wollten sich ein schönes Wochenende gönnen, wo auch ich mit meiner Frau schon war. Allerdings war das ein totaler Reinfall. Zweimal wurde das absolut gleiche Menu serviert, obwohl meine Frau offerierte und präferiert hätte, an einem anderen Ort zu essen für weniger als die 130 Euro / Person. Chef zeigte sich nicht mal am Tisch. Ausrede: Kein Personal. Hier werden wir nie mehr hingehen. Unglaubliche Arroganz und fehlender Professionalität.

Das Seehotel Linde ist ein kleines, aber sehr feines Hotel in der Ortsmitte von Bodman. Wir haben sowohl ein Zimmer mit Seeblick (sehr groß, aber ohne Loggia) genossen, als auch ein Luxuszimmer ( von der Fläche her kleiner, aber mit großer Terrasse, von der man auch seitwärts auf den See blicken kann). Die Ausstattung beider Zimmer war sehr gut. Im Sommer ist wahrscheinlich das nach Norden gelegene Seeblickzimmer besser geeignet, da die Klimaanlage nicht sehr stark ist. Nur je ein Fenster hatte Fliegengitter gegen die Mückenplage. Da durch Bodman weder eine Durchgangsstraße noch eine Eisenbahnlinie führt, ist die Lage sehr ruhig. Großer Vorteil im Sommer: die zum Hotel gehörende Liegewiese mit direktem Zugang zum See. Es gibt kein Frühstücksbuffet, sondern die sehr reichhaltigen Zutaten werden am Tisch bestellt und serviert. Hier wie im ganzen Hotel sind die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter, freundlich, hilfsbereit und sehr professionell. Ein liebevoll geführtes Hotel mit hohem Standard, zu dem ein ebenso gutes Sternerestaurant gehört. Ich kann es uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Das Preisniveau ist allerdings entsprechend hoch.
