I didn’t get to stay at the Jonesville Hampton, as they were full. It was 10:30 pm and my wife I were quite weary, having driven from Michigan. (We had tried a couple other places previous to this stop). The desk clerk (Lora) was very kind, even in rejection. She got right on the phone and started calling other hotels for us. On the 3rd call, she found us a place in Statesville, NC. She even drew a map with exit number and landmark huge flags to watch for. She even gave me a cup of coffee, when I mentioned how tired I was. Lora is an exemplary employee and a picture of what customer service should be, even though I wasn’t a customer. What a comfort to know there are still people like her in the world!
