Many birds enjoy the quiet and calm waters of the inlet and the thick pine trees that envelop the beach house. Hoot’s Hideout is the perfect spot to stay and a launchpad to enjoy everything the South Okanagan has to offer. The Hoot’s Crew has worked hard to create the perfect space to have a hoot whether you decide to leave the property or not. Go for a morning paddleboard, swim or just relax in the hot tub and/or sauna. Beach-wise - there are two access points to Hoots' private beaches. A very friendly cove right outside the house provides a great sheltered spot to swim. Or zip past the on-site cabin to another private beach: quiet, pebbled, and south facing with tons of sun. Nearby Hoot's there is a dog-friendly public beach and Penticton's famous clothing-optional beach. Yes, you read that correctly, a public nude beach about a 5-minute walk from your doorstep!The Okanagan offers a ton to do. Just up the road, you have a selection of outstanding wineries you can visit; on foot or by bike! We are also nearby an incredible network of beginner to advanced mountain biking trails, a pump track for kids, and the infamous KVR trail (an 11.7 km gravel path that stretches from Naramata to Penticton) which will lead you right into Penticton. In Penticton, there are many great restaurants and breweries to visit! The valley is known for it's fresh fruit and wine, hot summers, warm lakes and champagne powder (in the winter)!There is a beautiful beach house (your rental accommodations) and there is a sweet little cabin that is enjoyed by the owners.
