A Second Home has four bedrooms and two and a half bedrooms, LARGE dining room with a table for all, kitchen and living room, and laundry room. Each bedroom has its own TV and there is a LARGE screen TV in the living room. Guests often mention the home has beautiful views and is spacious for families and friends to gather comfortably. It is currently listed as a favorite for 2026 with VRBO readers.You will see more trees and mountains than people when you are here. THIS PROPERTY HAS TO BE OWNER-OCCUPIED, AS PER HOA RULES.. Owners' space is a completely separate area with a different area. Second Home has a LARGE, private deck in the backyard that looks out on mountain views. It's the only Denali vacation rental with a completely paved driveway and parking area and two acres of quiet lawns and woodlands. It has a turn-around driveway with plenty of space for parking.Owners are year-round Alaskans who have been hosting guests for 37 years in the Denali Area. They book rental cars and give accurate tour desk information. They offer free transfers to and from the Denali Depot if you book a rental car AND reserve train tickets through them.. If you are confused about tours and transit buses and attraction in the Park, ask your hosts. They have accurate and timely information based on personal experience.They have up-to-date information about Denali National Park, the area and the state. Their tips will save you money and time. Example: be sure to take the East Fork Transit Bus for $33.50 (2025 prices) instead of the Tundra Wilderness Tour for $144.50. The transit bus is narrated too. Please ask if you have Denali questions. Are you looking for the experience of a rustic Alaskan cabin with modern comforts to enjoy with family and friends? Want something close to Denali National Park but away from the crowds? Would you like to increase your chances of seeing Mount Denali? Reindeer Mountain Cabin is all of that and more. Built in the 1974, the cabin has unique carvings at the ends of the roof purlins and on the front porch, with views of Mount Denali and the Talkeetna Range. It is located a beautiful 27 mile drive south of Denali National Park. While a view of Denali can be elusive to summer visitors, at our cabin, you can step out on the porch at any hour to see if the mountain is on display. Reindeer Mountain Cabin is approximately 1200 SF and has two bedrooms, each with one queen size bed. One bedroom has a full en suite bathroom. The second full bathroom has a washer and dryer and is located off of the hallway for ease of access. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, with plenty of seating and views of the Talkeetna Mountains. The kitchen is stocked with basic pantry staples and condiments.The cabin was originally part of Reindeer Mountain Lodge, built in the 70's and ran until the 90's, servicing the workers that built the intertie through our area. After sitting abandoned and full of storage for over a decade, the deteriorating lodge was deconstructed and the cabin was gutted and renovated. Back on the market after taking 2 years off to rent out yearly.The Taiga House is located in the forest just north of Denali National Park. Once a spacious B&B known as "The Grand View" it has been remade into a family home with two vacation rentals. Our three bedroom, second floor residence is attached, yet private, with an entrance and yard of it's own, amazing views of the local mountains scenery and abundant charm. It sleeps six, with 2 queen beds and a daybed with trundle bed under, full bath, spacious living room/dining and fully equipped kitchen plus a washer/dryer. There is a bar-b-que grill, picnic table, fire pit and amazing wilderness just outside the door. There are restaurants, a brew pub, and a full grocery stores just a ten minute walk down the trail, or a two minute drive away, and many more restaurants, bars and shops twelve miles south in the bustling tourist zone known as Glitter Gulch outside the entrance to Denali Park.About pets:No pets allowed.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About customRules:Smoking is allowed outside..About checkIn:Check in after 4:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About minBookingAge:Minimum age to rent: 25.About events:No events allowed.
