The Hudson Farmhouse – A Retreat on the Edge of Cuyahoga Valley National ParkWelcome to The Farmhouse on Olde Eight, a spacious, welcoming home in Hudson, Ohio, now available for the first time. Sitting on 12 acres within 2 miles of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, this 1930s family property is ideal for reunions, milestone celebrations, or quiet escapes into nature.The home comfortably sleeps 16 and includes a large bunk room perfect for kids or group stays. You’ll enjoy gathering in the quaint kitchen and dining area, relaxing in the spacious family room, and watching deer wander through the yard from the back porch. The Farmhouse shares its scenic acreage with The Cottage and The Carriage House, two separate dwellings also maintained by our family.Over the past five years, we’ve been lovingly restoring the farmhouse, reviving its character and updating it with care. Projects like new windows, a refreshed and expanded kitchen, a repaved driveway, and power restored to the original barn are all in the works. This beautiful 1950’s Mid-Century modern home is located right off Route 8 in the active North Hill neighborhood of Akron, within an easy commute to Cuyahoga Falls, Akron, and even Cleveland, Youngstown and Canton! Plenty of surrounding parks, ball field complexes, trails, shopping, restaurants, night life, minor league baseball, concerts, and more!This reservation includes use of one bedroom on the first floor with a with a queen-sized bed. Use of the relaxing living room on main floor with loveseat, sofa, & 50" Smart TV, adjacent to the fully stocked kitchen. The entire 2nd floor, additional bedroom on the first floor, and garage will not be accessible with this reservation unless prior arrangements are made.
