Two night stay in a very nice bedroom, all up to snuff as I would expect, nice toiletries & towels good quality. The 24 inch tv was out of keeping & I couldn’t find Sky anywhere. Sunil in the Bar was good company& very efficient. The bar was empty both nights before & after our meal which caused a severe lack of atmosphere. The restaurant is pleasant enough but again lacked ambience partly due to its size & the number of diners limited to thirty😵💫😵💫😵💫 The dinners were ok, I would say 3 star plus. Breakfast buffet was limited and the full english both days looked good but except for the beans was not as hot as I wanted. All the staff were very nice it has to be said. A little suprise when I came to pay the bill was a 5% gratuity on the cost of our dinner, bed & breakfast stay. So if you pay £ £450 for two night it adds £22.50

What a wonderful Hotel, First time booking we would like to thank all staff especially Jake who never seemed to be off duty, his professional but relaxed attitude really made us feel at home here. All staff were very attentive. We hope to return shortly. Hude Thank you from the Martins!

We have just returned from a delightful 2 night stay at this charming country house hotel. The staff are friendly & welcoming especially Jake & Harry & nothing is too much trouble for them. They have a great well trained team & are very customer focused. We stayed in the ground floor room Buttermere which is perfect for anyone with mobility issues. The decor is fresh & bright with all amenities provided. The breakfast was freshly cooked using quality products. Dinner was excellent with a good choice available. The food was delicious & well presented. We shall definitely be making a return visit here & would recommend to others. The gardens are just wonderful with so much to see & fabulous views.

Stayed here for nights, we were made to feel extremely welcome by Jake. The scones for the cream tea were amongst the best I've ever tasted. We ate in on the first night and the food was so full of flavour a d reasonable prices. Breakfast on both days was enough to set us up for the full day. One of the nicest places I've ever stayed.

This is a wonderful gem set in its own grounds with beautiful gardens. The rooms are well appointed, very clean and the breakfast is wonderful. They have recently started doing evening meals and our meal was yummy! Harry made our stay really enjoyable with his pleasant, professional and helpful manner, but all the staff are lovely. We will be back!

I booked this through Secret Escapes, and I am glad I did otherwise I might not have discovered it. We wanted a bed and breakfast so we could eat out in the evenings. However we did have a meal the first night and it was really lovely. The hotel has just been refurbished to a high standard. Our room, 13 was lovely, only down side was it was at the top of the building so many steps to climb. However I would op for the same room again. The gardens are beautiful, although I believe that is there next project to landscape. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable . We will defiantly think about booking again, when we next decided to visit the lake district. Harry and Jake couldn't do enough for you and were very accommodating.

Just returned from a lovely 3 night stay at the beautiful Lindeth Fell. Wonderful setting with stunning views across to Lake Windermere and the fells beyond, wonderful gardens, excellent welcoming staff and delicious food. The hotel had a warm and calming atmosphere which made for a very relaxing break. The public rooms on the ground floor have just undergone a stylish refurbishment. I am not sure how many bedrooms have been refurbished as I stayed in an old style room which was a bit dated (en-suite bathroom was nice) whilst a friend had one that had been updated. Special mention to Harry and the team who were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return.

Had a lovely two night stay at Lindeth Fell. Stayed in Thirlmere which appears to be the smallest superior room but still nice and clean and cosy. The views were stunning. The bathroom with its waterfall shower and underfloor heating was a delight. The staff were welcoming and informative and couldn't do enough for you. The food was excellent for both breakfast and evening meal. It made you want to stay longer to get it all.

We had a truly relaxing 2 nights stay at Lindeth Fell just before Easter and what a delight it was. Even though the weather was dull, the views both from our faultless room and from the bar/restaurant were amazing, but what really makes this an outstanding hotel are the staff, who were attentive, pleasant and friendly but all managed to balance this and remain totally professional. The level of customer care we received from all the front of house team was second to none. They also have a very good chef team, and the standard of the food at breakfast and dinner proved this. The menu changed on our second evening and although the food was good on the first evening, the change was a lovely surprise. We will definitely be back.
