We came here with a group of golf friends. What a amazing good hotel, excellent service, good food, outside and inside pool, excellent spa and what a scenery with the sea and beaches right in front of our nose. Most of us could not believe that we could stay here at very reasonable price. Magnificent, and at only one kilometer the fantastic golfcourses of Saunton. Its a golfers paradise, we will certainly come back. Thank you to all staf, very very friendly!

The place is amazing. All the staff are lovely. Can’t do enough for you. Views from the terrace are fabulous.

We visited this hotel for a 2- night weekend stay to celebrate a birthday. Areas of the hotel are newly renovated but other areas (including our room) are quite dated. The spa is lovely with excellent staff. The food and service in the restaurant was mostly ok but we were charged for coffee with breakfast which was disappointing. The location is lovely with easy access to the beach.

Wow! What an amazing stay! This hotel has everything. We stayed with our 2 daughters (5 and 8) for a 2 night stay. The staff were all so lovely and friendly. The pools and facilities were top notch and the view from all the windows in the hotel was breathtaking. We will definitely be returning.

The hotel is in a beautiful location - overlooking an unspoilt beach. The location takes your breath away, as does the peace and quiet at night- all you can hear are the waves rolling in on the beach. The hotel is very clean, the staff are fantastic , and nothing is too much trouble. Our room was lovely- with a big balcony overlooking the fabulous beach. The spa is wonderful, as is the outdoor pool. The food is good, and the waiting staff were very attentive and knowledgeable.

Loved everything about the hotel. You can't fault the service, food both in the hotel and the Beach Bar, as well as our room, and i'm not sure you could get a better location. If i was to pick fault it would be that when guests eat outside and leave the table the Gulls arrive and climb all over the sugar pots which don't have lids on. But luckily i don't take sugar.

The hotel and location were beautiful and the spa, restaurants and bar were also great, but what really stood out was the service... everyone was polite, friendly and very helpful. Faultless service! The food was another highlight. We had a mixture of vegan and non vegan family there and everyone was very impressed with the quality of the food. Highly recommended!

We have been coming to Saunton Sands Hotel for over 30 yrs and always enjoy the experience. The view and beach are spectacular, the staff are friendly and attentive and the food delicious.

Having heard from friends that this hotel was superb, when they offered me a lift there I was so looking forward to seeing it, and it didn't disappoint! The traditional has been melded well with modern facilities - its not cheap, but the staff were all so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Many of the guests said that they had visited the area years before and always wanted to be able to stay there -and everyone was delighted that they had been able to do so. Being on my own I expected a small single room overlooking the rear, but no, I had a wonderful sea view, a good sizes room and a small balcony - not forgetting an immaculate en-suite. The weather was quite changeable, and cold for June, but we got in a couple of lovely walks right from the hotel to and from Croyde, a visit to Rosemoor Gardens on a wet day followed by a perfect cream tea in the lounge. As a vegetarian I was pleased there were always several vegan choices on the starters,but it was just as well I liked curry, as the vegan main meals on three out of four nights were both different sorts of curry - I did mention this at reception when leaving. Wine is rather expensive, but other drinks very much on a par with my local restaurants. Both pools were heated, and excellent spa facilities if you want them - I would rather be outdoors looking at the view which I could never git tired of - it would be difficult to get any better situation. Would I stay again - oh Yes

Lovely couple of days with my two sisters. Staff were great kind and helpful without exception felt well looked after. Rooms were lovely fantastic views, very clean - only minus point shower a bit lacking in energy! Ate in restaurant both days once again lovely atmosphere and decoration, staff were great and catered easily for any change in menu. Food good, especially breakfast, Spa area lovely had treatments each and I used the sauna, jacuzzi etc which I found very relaxing with a swim after. Really appreciate the provision of towels and anything else you needed. We were lucky that the sun shone on our two days so we enjoyed a lie in the garden with glasses of wine - very relaxing. Will definitely be visiting again thank you everyone 🥰

Fabulous 2 night stay with a friend. Location is beautiful and the hotel and spa facilities are excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would recommend!

If you, like us, are looking for some tranquility by the sea with exceptional service then look no further. I booked a 2 night stay here for my husband’s birthday. The communication prior to arrival should have given me an indication of what sort of experience we were due to have, but honestly even that didn’t prepare me. From the moment we arrived, and throughout our stay, every single member of staff we encountered was polite, helpful and nothing was a problem. The facilities are fantastic and the views are out of this world. But the staff really do make this somewhere special to stay. We ate in both the onsite restaurant and the beachside grill and had incredible, fresh meals with exemplary service. We didn’t bring our children with us, but would not hesitate to in the future. The little extra touches such as the playroom really would make going with children stress free. Thank you Saunton Sands for giving us the perfect rested break we really needed.

Amazing, our home from home hotel. Been visiting for over 20 years, and it still feels as special as the first time.

Check in was smooth. Rooms were clean and comfortable with far reaching views of Saunton Sands beach. Nice garden to sit and relax with a drink and enjoy the sunshine and stare at the sea. Lounge area ok although bar was constantly cluttered with empty glasses and staff looked overwhelmed at times. We had dinner at the beach grill, food and service very good. Spa area ok although we were abruptly asked to leave after 5 minutes as children are not aloud in the indoor pool after 6 o'clock... ok but we were the only guests using the pool at this time. We moved to the outdoor pool which is heated and it was one of the rare warm days so it was ok. Breakfast had plenty of fresh cooked food to choose from the buffet. Fruit juices had run out and not been replenished. Coffees had been spilt into the saucers on their way to our table by the waitress who then let the toast fall out the rack onto our table, put them down and left. Overall not put off by our stay, maybe just a bad day but lacked the usual finesse we have experienced at other Brend establishments.
