IInvitéThe hotel was extremely busy, as it was a holiday weekend. The state of the hotel definitely showed an increase in volume and turnover. Our room, the entranceway, and the bathroom floor had white marks all over it. At first, it looked like a child walked into paint and then ran in and out of the room. However, with the smallest of elbow grease, I was able to remove most of the marks from the bathroom. In doing so, it looked more like dried oatmeal, but I couldn't be sure. My point is that it was impossible not to notice this mess and that someone made a conscious decision to leave it in this manner. They did this, knowing that it was a long weekend and that guests would be paying in some cases double what they normally would pay. At these prices, with taxes,fees, etc, we were over a grand for 2 nights. At these prices, you do expect the rooms to be in pristine condition. We had spoken to a staff member delivering towels to a nèar by room. He informed us that he would speak to his supervisor and that someone would be up shortly. At this point, it was late and we were at the end of a solid week of moving. We needed sleep more than anything. To the best of our knowledge, no one tried to reach us in regard to this issue. This is a beautiful hotel. However, more needs to be done to keep it that way.

HHelen26@Hôtel très propre et propre. J'ai rencontré les vacances de la rue de marche à la fois, je ne peux pas aller à la porte droite de l'hôtel et je ne peux pas trouver l'entrée du parking. Réception téléphonique, très attentive, trouver quelqu'un pour le prendre. Très bon service.

PPenelope JaneHotel is newer so feels fresh and clean. Our room and bedding had a bit of a stale smell, I asked to have the pillows swapped after the first night as I immediately noticed the “greasy” smell when I went to bed. Although they exchanged the pillows, the second set was no better so I sprayed them with some aromatherapy I happened to have on hand.
Overall nice hotel, front desk staff could be more friendly and professional, but not a big problem.

IInvitéNous avons eu un séjour merveilleux! Très calme et nous avons particulièrement apprécié la chambre de niveau inférieur qui s'ouvre dans la belle cour grasse. Un court pas à la piscine et un tube chaud! Et le petit déjeuner était tout simplement délicieux. Tout le personnel était ami et nous voudrions vous féliciter de l'élégant, professionnel et utile personnel de la première table - toujours un sourire qui a fait le jour brillant! Merci beaucoup!

IInvitéWe enjoyed our stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Kelowna. Staff were friendly, swimming pool and slide were great for our 9 year old, free breakfast was fantastic!
My only complaint would be that I booked a room with a king size bed saying it sleeps 4 (2 adults and 2 children), so I assumed there would be a pull out couch. There was only one king bed. So my toddler slept in her playpen that we brought along and my 9 year old had to sleep on the floor. I’m not really sure how one bed means you can sleep 4 people?
But we made it work and our stay was great besides that issue.

DDevopriya TirthoI stayed at Recreation Inn during my recent trip to Kelowna, and overall, it was a decent experience for the price. The standout for me was the Saturday breakfast – simple but on point. It was served buffet-style with a good mix of egg muffins, fruit, bread, and juice. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, making for a nice start to the day.
The room itself was clean and had all the basic amenities I needed, but I have to admit, the condition of the room felt quite dated. The furniture and decor could really use an upgrade, and there was an unpleasant musty odor in the room that lingered throughout my stay, which definitely affected my comfort.
The staff were polite and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth. The location is convenient, close to some restaurants and not far from the lake, which was a bonus.
If you’re looking for a basic place to crash for a night or two and don’t mind a bit of an older vibe, it could work. But if you’re sensitive to smell or looking for something modern and more refreshed, this might not be the best fit.

IInvitéL'hôtel était super, nous avons apprécié notre séjour. La chambre était spacieuse, lit confortable, belles culottes et serviettes. Les toilettes étaient un peu trop petites, nous avons demandé plus et ont été fournis immédiatement. J'ai absolument aimé le territoire et les piscines chaudes et tubes chauds, ces sont étonnants!
La seule chose est les restaurants sur la propriété, même si le menu est assez bon, les plats n'ont pas goûté grand, nous avons eu deux petits-déjeuners et deux dîners, et nous avons commandé des choses différentes chaque fois, mais encore. C'est peut-être nous, mais une note, vous voulez peut-être manger ailleurs.

IInvitéLe petit déjeuner est très bon, mais il est très bon. Le camion de bagage dumpe les gros bins à 5 h 30 est donc si vous obtenez un appel de réveil précoce. L'hôtel lui-même est une bonne option, les restaurants sont également bons. Pas de pub plus, mais ne dis pas cela en ligne. Tous dans le bon séjour.

IInvitéOur stay was generally okay—clean room and expected service—but nothing particularly memorable. One issue stood out: we were asked to stop using the pool at around 9:30 AM because we were told it only opens at 10. We respected that, but just minutes later, another guest used the pool at 9:37 AM, followed by a family with two kids before 10 as well.
It felt inconsistent and a bit unfair. A clear and consistently enforced policy would’ve avoided the confusion and frustration. This small incident left us with mixed feelings about the stay.
