✨ A hidden gem in Taizhou: Fuchen Yin 府城隐 What makes this hotel truly special is its incredible story — a beautiful transformation from an old 财神庙 (temple of the God of Wealth, so yes… extra good fortune vibes 😉) and a historic printing factory into a serene luxury retreat. Tucked away in a quiet residential alley and accessible by buggy, the hotel feels like a secret escape from the busy world. The moment you step inside, you feel a sense of calm. The rooms are thoughtfully designed with generous spaces to unwind, relax, and simply enjoy the moment. My favourite corners? The library, where I spent time getting lost among the books, and the piano area, where I happily played a few tunes. These little details made the stay feel more like a home away from home rather than just a hotel. The breakfast was an absolute highlight — a celebration of Taizhou’s local flavours. I loved discovering so many regional specialties: 🍵 青草糊 — a refreshing grass jelly dessert with a wonderful touch of peppermint that made it even more refreshing 🍜 姜汤面 and 芋头面 — comforting local noodle dishes 🍰 三色糕 🍚 乌饭麻糍 (with red bean filling) 🥟 扁食 …and so many more delicious local treats that I wish I had a bigger stomach! They even helped me buy the famous 海苔饼 — the whole reason I came to Taizhou — and it arrived piping hot. Truly the kind of thoughtful service that makes a trip memorable. The hotel facilities are exceptional. From the beautifully designed spaces to the thoughtful amenities, everything has been carefully considered. The bed deserves a special mention — probably one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept in. They also provide turndown service, luxurious toiletries, and a complimentary minibar (which, by the way, included local rice wine 🍶 — just saying 😉). A huge thank you to every member of the Fuchen Yin team for making my stay so warm and memorable. The combination of history, design, local culture, incredible food, and heartfelt hospitality makes this one of the most unique stays I’ve experienced. Definitely a place I would love to return to. 🤍

How do I even put this amazing trip into words? I’m an exchange student studying Chinese in Hangzhou, and I was totally hooked after seeing photos of Shenxianju’s breathtaking scenery online. I searched a lot of hotels and homestays near Shenxianju, but here’s the thing—most hotel staff couldn’t speak English. That’s when I found this homestay! The front desk team was so friendly, answered all my questions in English, and even took my special requests super seriously. Once I got there, I was blown away: the place was quiet and peaceful, and the room was spotless. Every staff member was warm and welcoming—whatever I needed, they had my back right away. The front desk attendants were always there when I called. At night, I got to stare up at a sky full of stars and really feel nature’s magic.oh,and their food? Really Delicious! And it’s so close to Shenxianju Scenic Area—only a 15-minute taxi ride! If you’re looking for a great homestay experience like I was, this one comes with my highest recommendation!

The hotel is simply amazing. Located in the heart of Tiantai, it is a true gem. Everything is spotlessly clean, and the beautiful Japanese-style furnishings add a lovely touch. The staff are incredibly helpful and attentive. Even though they don’t speak English, they were exceptionally kind and went out of their way to assist us. Zhang at the front desk was especially lovely and made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Beautiful interior. Very modern design with good facilities. You'd need to walk around 100 meters to get to the hotel, as it is located inside a walking street. Great location if you'll spend your time within Ziyang street and climbing the city wall. Air conditioning does not work during Spring. It might be a bit warm at the middle of the day and early afternoon but chilly at night, so make sure that your room is facing the street and the windows can be opened.

La maison de famille de la population est propre et chaleureuse, les enfants l'aiment particulièrement. La vue de la salle de la mer est très ouverte et vous pouvez directement voir la mer dans la chambre. Le paysage est particulièrement guéri. Le service du chef est très attentif et le goût du dîner est également superbe, les fruits de mer frais et élégant, et le parking est également très pratique. Le seul petit regret est que je ne peux pas voir le soleil le matin, je dois reprendre l'expérience la prochaine fois, fortement recommandé!

Là, il y a une belle-fille. La beauté du peuple est qu'elle a mis ”la distance” dans le feu de fumée. La vue de la fenêtre est poussée, les rêves sont ennuyeux. Chaque fenêtre ici est une peinture qui respirera. Le matin, les oiseaux se réveillent et la nuit, avec les étoiles dans le rêve, et même la douleur est devenue une sorte de plaisir. Il y a une température qui se cache entre les eaux de montagne, mais qui est facile à transporter; loin de la ville, mais qui conserve le sentiment de la vie. Le temps semble vraiment ralentir ici. Un pas en un paysage, il est possible d'intégrer des miroirs partout. Qu'il s'agisse d'un vieux arbre, d'un mur ou d'un soleil de la terrasse, le film est grand, esthétique en ligne, surprenant. Le design a une âme et les détails sont accueillis chauds. De la position des meubles, de la température de la lumière, à un livre lisible, à un stylo à la main, vous pouvez sentir le cœur et le goût de la personne principale. Ce n'est pas le millennium de l'hôtel, mais la maison est unique. Sans froid standardisé, avec des produits de chauffage personnalisés, des lits chauds et des peaux douces, des produits de lave-vaisselle ont un sentiment de qualité, même les coupes de pommes de terre sont choisies pour le bien. La nouvelle et la vieille fusion, un sentiment d'histoire. Pas trop de troubles, mais un verre de bienvenue, une carte de mains et un chat honnête, quand vous avez besoin, sont tous ”précisés”. L'expérience sur le terrain permet de rendre le voyage plus racine.

Очень понравился наш отдых в этой уютной гостинице! Большое спасибо хозяевам за гостеприимство и заботу. Особенно приятно, что отель находится совсем близко к Shenxianju Scenic Area – хозяин лично отвез нас туда, а потом забрал после прогулки, что очень удобно! Хозяйка – прекрасный повар, кормили нас очень вкусно. Красивый интерьер. Еще нас угостили свежими сезонными фруктами – персики были такими сочными и сладкими, просто объедение! Рядом с отелем есть ”Тропа здоровья” – мы с удовольствием прогулялись по ней, насладились природой и увидели две красивые плотины. Очень живописное место!

Vivre dans le paysage, ne pas vouloir quitter la maison un jour.! La plus surprise de ce voyage est que j'ai réservé ce nom. La porte a été vraiment étonnée. J'ai venu en mer. . . La chambre a une grande fenêtre de terrain avec des tennis. Vous pouvez voir la mer et le ciel étoile sur le lit. Comme vivre dans un tableau. Glorie. Mon fils! La chambre est large et complète. Se séparer de la séparation sec. Les articles de lave-vaisselle sont très qualitatifs. Le lit est confortable. Le patron est particulièrement bon. Aidez à faire la présentation de l'attaque. Le petit frère du magasin aide à trouver les bagages. La présentation est forte pour les amants qui veulent relaxer.. Un film de main est grand. La prochaine fois, vous resterez ici..

I booked Yunman when planning the trip from Thailand to China. There are so many hotel choices on Trip. I'd like to share why Yunman becomes my final choice. 1. The pictures shown on comments. - From those pictures, I can learned so many things, like cleaness, small designing ideas. They told me many about how serious the hotel owner take this business. - Because I can feel the owner's attitude via those pictures. I can sure the other parts will be no problem also. 2. The descriptions other guests said about the staff - For me, although I don't have many requests to the staff, just hope they can help me checkin well. But the staff in Yunman Hotel, they did great job. Checking-in well is one thing, they introduced me a lot for Taizhou local traditional foods and where I can go for looking. That really satisfied me well. 3. No so chain hotel - Actually I don't like those chain hotel. They makes me feel cold. I don't know how to express this cold feeling. Anyway, all in all, Yunman Hotel is an ideal choice for me.
