IInvitéI enjoyed staying at this hotel with my family and friends. It is situated on top a small hill on one end of Shengshan Island. Staff can pick you up from the island’s dock and drive you to the hotel - which is great if it is super hot or if you get seasick on the ferry ride (1 hour from Shanghai, 3.5 hours from Ningbo) from the China mainland. The hotel has impressive rooms with large bathrooms / a tub, showy / “baller” furniture, and thrilling views of the sea. Our room had a 270 degrees view - we received a free room upgrade from the generous hotel. The hotel has a solid morning breakfast (not buffet) included in the room rate. Soft drinks and beers can also be bought. The hotel has an outdoor pool and it is next to a seaside road that can serve as a running route (there is a running path part of the way). One length of the island, from the hotel to the East Cliff, is about 5.25 km one-way. The run is more undulating (hilly) than you might expect, but it is not too bad. Bring suntan lotion if you go in the summer. I’d say 2-3 nights is enough to get the full experience. This is a really strong hotel considering that it is in a small market and that the whole island is a bit isolated. I am glad I went and am happy to recommend if you decide to give it a try.

SsteelzhangC'est le mois d'avril dans le monde, alors embarquons pour une escapade de trois jours et deux nuits hors du monde au Gouqi Island Sea Cliff Resort Hotel ! L'hôtel est situé dans le village de Longquan, un coin de l'île. Chaque chambre fait face directement à la mer, et vous pourrez dormir sur les falaises et les vagues de la plage, profitant d'un moment de détente et de détente. L'île de Gouqi est la célèbre « ville natale des moules » de Zhoushan et est également un pâturage marin naturel. L'hôtel Haiya dispose d'un restaurant dédié avec vue sur la mer, où vous vous sentirez extrêmement heureux de dîner. Les ingrédients du restaurant sont fraîchement achetés, les compétences du chef sont de niveau cinq étoiles et le rapport qualité-prix est pour moi stupéfiant. À Wolfberry et Haiya, la vie peut être tranquille et vous pouvez écouter la mer lentement ; la vie peut être belle et le vent peut souffler lentement...

MMaria13579One of our best stays in China! This place was absolutely amazing. The ladies running it are hilarious and always made us laugh.
First of all - the rooms are really good for the price. We got upgraded to a much better room after our first night, free of charge. It’s also conveniently located next to grocery shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach, while still being a little out of the way from the hustle and bustle.
The food here is really good too - the (included) breakfast as well as what you can buy for lunch/dinner is really fresh. Because of the language barrier they tried to accommodate by providing more “western style” breakfasts for us, but when we realized and asked about it they made us a second breakfast that was like the one everyone else got.
They also helped us out with a driver to take us to the abandoned village, and booked our tickets back to Shanghai.
Also, the aircon here is FAST and reliable which we’ve realized isn’t a given after a few weeks in China. So that’s another (small yet important) plus for sure!
Usually I like to explore different places and stay at different accommodations if/when I revisit places, but I’d probably make an exception and stay here again if I ever come back to visit the island!

WWarren TanadaLe service de l'homme qui nous a pris à l'aéroport est excellent. 10/10!!! Notre bagage a été endommagé pendant le vol, il a appelé quelqu'un pour nous aider à la réparer. Nous étions à court terme pour le ferry à Mt Putuo en raison des conditions météorologiques, le jour où les voiles seront annulées, (nous avons eu un chat dans la voiture quand il nous a pris de l'aéroport), Il a dit que nous pouvions juste laisser les bagages au bureau de front et nous envoyer rapidement au port, bonne chose que nous avons fait. C'est un excellent service client !!!! Il ne voulait même pas obtenir un conseil, enfin nous lui avons donné quelques paquets de mango secs des Philippines. Le type de bureau frontal, bien qu'il soit différent, il était super lent, ne savait pas comment gérer le check-in des titulaires de passeports étrangers, je pense. Il a également été difficile pour lui de comprendre les dates de visa (expiration et date de délivrance), et il a continué de demander quand nous sommes arrivés, il est juste là marqué à l'opposé de la page de visa, nous venons en fait juste arrivé ce jour, c'est notre premier hôtel. Le service est très bien servi.

MMike the digital nomadI had the pleasure of staying at the Lvcheng Zhujiajian Dongsha Hotel in Zhoushan, and it was an unforgettable experience. This beachfront gem offers direct access to the beach, making it an ideal choice for travelers seeking a relaxing seaside getaway.
The hotel's location couldn't be more perfect. Being steps away from the beach allowed me to enjoy picturesque views of the ocean and soothing sounds of the waves throughout my stay. The serene atmosphere made it easy to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of daily life.
A side note, this hotel is connected to the Westin and guest could stroll through the grounds.
The check-in process was smooth, and the staff greeted me with warm hospitality. They were attentive to my needs and provided helpful information about the hotel's services and nearby attractions.
The room was tastefully decorated and well-appointed with modern amenities. I appreciated the comfortable bed and the well-designed bathroom. The room's balcony provided a lovely spot to enjoy the sea breeze and stunning sunsets.
The hotel's dining options were diverse and satisfying. I particularly enjoyed the fresh seafood dishes served at the hotel's restaurant. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices, catering to different palates.
The Lvcheng Zhujiajian Dongsha Hotel's on-site facilities were also impressive. The swimming pool was well-maintained, and the spa provided a delightful way to relax after a day at the beach.
As mentioned earlier, the hotel's connection to the Westin added an extra layer of convenience. Guests could access additional amenities such as fitness centers, upscale dining venues, and more, creating a seamless blend of relaxation and indulgence.
Overall, my stay at the Lvcheng Zhujiajian Dongsha Hotel was exceptional. The location has numerous spots for having meals. There were a lot of restaurants all mostly catering seafood dishes. Which I thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect beachfront escape in Zhoushan.

IInvitéService was good, from the helpful shuttle bus drivers to the prompt service of the technician-we had difficulty turning on the TV initially. However, we were confused about the shuttle bus stops stated by the hotel as there are designated hotel shuttle bus stops which are different from the different temples stops where only the public buses can go.
The breakfast spread was not big but adequate. The hotel room was comfortable although not big. I like the Zen design. The windows were open when we entered the hotel room, hence there were two flies in the room. We turned on the electric mosquito repellent. Luckily, they did not disturb us. The attendants should not open the windows when doing room cleaning lest insects go into the room. The island has many trees so there are insects-mosquitoes, flies etc around.
The room walls are thin though. I could hear the neighbouring rooms talking along the corridor and the room attendant coming by to their rescue saying he is the room attendant.
The hotel is a few minutes' walk from the sea, good for an evening walk.
Overall, the quality is good and the hotel room was comfortable. Definitely a hotel I could return to.

IInvitéTrès bien, je suis venu à Putin pour trois ans, cette fois, c'est le plus confortable et le plus propre du peuple de la maison. La chambre est également très grande, le style est également très aimable, le grand frère du propriétaire est très enthousiaste, la prochaine fois, je reviendrai.
