« Très proche de la gare, à deux minutes de route, très pratique; Posez vos bagages, vous pouvez marcher le long de la rivière, aller vers le côté de la rivière, c'est la main gauche de la porte, voir, ...... vous pouvez aller au football, puis retourner sur la route, le paysage différent, il y a beaucoup de restaurants intéressants au milieu, beaucoup de gens mangent et jouent ... puis à la gare - Oui. »

The summer room is a small cosy unit attached to the main house with a separate entrance. It's about 30 minutes's walk to the city centre. We preferred not to walk the quiet streets after dinner to get back to the flat. There are a lot of parking options and it's a flat rate of 3 to 4 quids after 5 pm to the next day.

I stayed at The George Hotel in Norwich for a quick overnight stop and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. Although I booked a super cheap deal for a single room, I was given a double room which was warm and comfortable. The location is easy to reach and it's about a 15 minute walk to the big shopping area in Norwich. The hotel staff were really attentive and friendly during check in and check out, they certainly made me feel very welcome and I wouldn't mind staying at The George Hotel again. They have an onsite restaurant called The Arlington Bistro which I would like to try as I didn't have a meal there during my stay. In summary, I can definitely recommend this nice, friendly hotel for everyone.

A moins de 10 minutes de route de la gare de Norwich. Pas loin du centre-ville. Il y a des salsifis et des salsifis propres, ainsi que des installations confortables comme l'obésité et le souffle. La qualité des torchons est également très bonne et très utile. L'enfant, les toilettes et les chaussures sont également très propres. J'ai été enregistré à midi, mais le personnel m'a guidé avec enthousiasme. Bon hôtel.

Whilst the room was beautiful and clean, the service let the place down. Waited fir 15 minutes to book in, found out about a hotel carpark fee when we arrived. Breakfast was slow and gad to call someone over to get a coffee refill.

Beautiful hotel not far from city centre. Staff were lovely and welcoming.
The room was large, with twin beds put together, which was unexpected with one duvet over both. I did expect separate twin beds, but it was ok.
The hotel itself is full of history, including a knight. I called him Gerald. I would love to have been there longer than the one night so I could fully explore the hotel.
We did not use the spa, and again, I would have loved to. We are likely to go back to fully experience what the hotel offers.
Parking was easy, with plenty of spaces.
Breakfast is buffet style plenty to choose from. No one shows you around just go and help yourself.
We look forward to going back.

Very convenient for the city centre. The independent cafes & restaurants of St Benedicts are very close. WiFi isn't great, but the hotel is clean, warm and well soundproofed. You don't really use a Premier Inn for more than sleeping and this is fine. Duke St car park is next door for an additional charge

InvitéWe wee offered a twin room although we requested a double, but the receptionist was very helpful and, with housekeeping, converted it into a double forthwith. The location was good and quiet, and the breakfast selection was reasonable, but very well cooked and one of the better English breakfasts we have had in the country. We assumed that the swimming pool usage was not part of the deal, and regretted not using it when we found out that there was no additonal fee for it. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

Friendly staff and great spot for me and my friend as we both have mobility issues. Just across the road from Norwich station.
Very good price, lovely breakfast what is there to like.
I read some reviews saying the food was bad it wasn't and also the bar was dirty this wasn't my experience.
It is not the Ritz but it was clean, accessible and secure staff lovely.

Looks a little run down outside and quite dated inside.
We spent one night in a twin room which was reasonably clean however i would suggest they upgrade the mattress protectors. Nice little complementary tray with water, tea coffee sugar and biscuits.
Staff on reception were very friendly.
We didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment.
Overall stay was good.

Booked for one night to go to the football at Carrie road which is about 15min walk from hotel town centre is about 20min walk, it is easy to get to from the station just a short walk, arrived and some other guests let me in at first as the manager was not there, he arrived a few minutes later and quickly booked quests in, very easy process he showed me were I was staying as staying the other side of hotel, told me if I had any problems to ring the number on the paper stuck to the back of the door, and if I wanted to use the WiFi the code was also there. Room was small but had a shower toilet and sink as well as a hairdryer and clothes rack. There was also a kettle with tea and coffee facilities. Overall place was clean and tidy I stayed in the top part at the front it was a pleasant stay.
