L'hôtel est situé en plein centre-ville, près de l'aéroport. Le quartier est très propre et le petit-déjeuner est excellent. Un supermarché est à proximité, ce qui est pratique pour faire ses courses. Il est également proche du Palais du Peuple et d'autres attractions. Nous sommes partis en excursion le lendemain et l'hôtel nous a préparé un copieux petit-déjeuner.

Location-wise, the Grand Hotel Continental could not be better positioned. Stepping out of the main entrance, guests find themselves directly on Bucharest's main thoroughfare, with an abundance of restaurants, shops and cultural attractions within easy walking distance. The city's finest museums are mere minutes away, making it an ideal base for both leisure and business travellers. Whilst the breakfast was available, we found it rather expensive for what was offered. However, this was not an issue as we discovered a charming café directly across from the hotel that provided excellent morning fare at more reasonable prices. The rooms maintain the classical elegance found throughout the property, with comfortable furnishings and all modern amenities one would expect from a hotel of this calibre. The attention to detail in both the public spaces and private rooms reflects the hotel's commitment to maintaining its historic charm whilst providing contemporary comfort. In conclusion, the Grand Hotel Continental Bucuresti offers a superb hotel experience in the heart of Romania's capital. Despite the breakfast pricing, which is easily remedied by numerous nearby alternatives, the hotel's outstanding service, perfect location and classical charm make it a splendid choice for anyone visiting Bucharest. We had a lovely stay overall. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the room was a good size — very pleasant and well kept. We were quite happy with the overall experience. Breakfast could be improved, as there weren’t many healthy options available. Most of the choices were heavier, American-style dishes, so a bit more variety would make a nice difference. It would also be great if the room cleaning were a bit more thorough each day, rather than just making the bed and changing towels. When guests pay for a hotel stay, consistent quality and attention to detail are always appreciated.

I cannot fault this hotel. So perfectly situated without being noisy, lovely staff, fantastic and varied breakfast (with excellent coffee), a well appointed gym, spotless and spacious. Thank you for making a solo female traveller happy, well fed and safe.

Une auberge formidable, avec même un petit-déjeuner léger inclus. L'emplacement est super pratique : bus direct pour l'aéroport, métro et nombreux bus à proximité, et la gare à 40 minutes à pied. La vieille ville est également à proximité. Le personnel de la réception est aimable et serviable : ils ont surclassé mon lit à ma demande, imprimé ma carte d'embarquement et m'ont toujours bien conseillé. Les casiers sont petits, mais on peut y ranger l'essentiel et les verrouiller, et on peut ranger sa valise sous le lit. En résumé, j'ai tout apprécié.
