Grand Hotel Continental Bucuresti Review Having recently stayed at the Grand Hotel Continental in Bucharest, I can confidently say this establishment lives up to its grand name. The hotel exudes classic elegance, and the service was nothing short of exceptional. Special mention must go to Daniel, the bell boy, whose dedication to guest satisfaction went well beyond his duties, setting a remarkable standard for hospitality. The hotel's layout is thoughtfully designed, making navigation effortless for guests coming and going throughout their stay. Its pristine cleanliness and classical architecture create an atmosphere of refined luxury that perfectly complements its historical surroundings. Location-wise, the Grand Hotel Continental could not be better positioned. Stepping out of the main entrance, guests find themselves directly on Bucharest's main thoroughfare, with an abundance of restaurants, shops and cultural attractions within easy walking distance. The city's finest museums are mere minutes away, making it an ideal base for both leisure and business travellers. Whilst the breakfast was available, we found it rather expensive for what was offered. However, this was not an issue as we discovered a charming café directly across from the hotel that provided excellent morning fare at more reasonable prices. The rooms maintain the classical elegance found throughout the property, with comfortable furnishings and all modern amenities one would expect from a hotel of this calibre. The attention to detail in both the public spaces and private rooms reflects the hotel's commitment to maintaining its historic charm whilst providing contemporary comfort. In conclusion, the Grand Hotel Continental Bucuresti offers a superb hotel experience in the heart of Romania's capital. Despite the breakfast pricing, which is easily remedied by numerous nearby alternatives, the hotel's outstanding service, perfect location and classical charm make it a splendid choice for anyone visiting Bucharest. L'hôtel est situé en plein centre-ville, près de l'aéroport. Le quartier est très propre et le petit-déjeuner est excellent. Un supermarché est à proximité, ce qui est pratique pour faire ses courses. Il est également proche du Palais du Peuple et d'autres attractions. Nous sommes partis en excursion le lendemain et l'hôtel nous a préparé un copieux petit-déjeuner.

L'hôtel était propre et confortable et la chambre était de bonne taille très agréable et bien gardée. Nous étions très heureux avec l'expérience globale. Le petit déjeuner pourrait être amélioré, car il n'y avait pas beaucoup d'options saines disponibles. Our stay at the Mercure Bucharest was truly memorable, thanks to the exceptional service and warm hospitality. The rooms were spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the city. The attention to detail in the room's amenities made our stay even more enjoyable. A special mention goes to the receptionist, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. She provided us with amazing suggestions for places to visit in Romania, turning our holiday into an incredible experience. Her local knowledge and enthusiasm made all the difference, guiding us to hidden gems we might have otherwise missed. The breakfast at the hotel was fantastic, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that catered to all tastes. It was the perfect way to start our days of sightseeing. The hotel's location is very convenient, with easy access to Bucharest's main attractions and public transport. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, Mercure Bucharest offers a welcoming and comfortable stay. We left with wonderful memories and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

I cannot fault this hotel. So perfectly situated without being noisy, lovely staff, fantastic and varied breakfast (with excellent coffee), a well appointed gym, spotless and spacious. Thank you for making a solo female traveller happy, well fed and safe.

La location de l'hôtel est superbe. La station de métro et de chemin de fer n'est que à quelques pas. Les équipements de base tels que le café et la chaudière étaient manquants et disponibles seulement pour les suites.

J'ai été très satisfaite de l'hôtel Casa Capsa. Idéalement situé, il est d'une propreté impeccable, son intérieur élégant et charmant, de style ancien, et son personnel serviable et poli. Le petit-déjeuner est délicieux et varié. J'y séjournerai à chaque fois que je reviendrai à Bucarest. Je le recommande vivement aux autres voyageurs.

Une auberge formidable, avec même un petit-déjeuner léger inclus. L'emplacement est super pratique : bus direct pour l'aéroport, métro et nombreux bus à proximité, et la gare à 40 minutes à pied. La vieille ville est également à proximité. Le personnel de la réception est aimable et serviable : ils ont surclassé mon lit à ma demande, imprimé ma carte d'embarquement et m'ont toujours bien conseillé. Les casiers sont petits, mais on peut y ranger l'essentiel et les verrouiller, et on peut ranger sa valise sous le lit. En résumé, j'ai tout apprécié.
