Boutique Hotel Classico Bremen

Fantastic 5 night stay and cannot fault this hotel. We received a warm welcome from Fidan at reception, she was very helpful. Our room overlooked the square, which had a wonderful view of the Christmas market & the beautiful buildings surrounding. Secondary glazing at the windows meant no noise whatsoever from our room on the 4th floor. The bed was comfortable, great shower & tv. Room was serviced every day with coffee, tea etc replenished, fresh towels, bedding etc as required. Amazing, friendly, helpful service at all times from Piotr, concierge. We will definitely return.

Perfect location in the centre of Bremen. Hotel room was lovely. Towels were a bit rough and quite small. Hotel Manager was very helpful. Food at hotel was also good. Breakfast huge. Only downside if you are a light sleeper you can hear the church bells through the night and noise from the pubs.

This was a wonderful hotel right in the midst of the most historic part of Bremen. Located right on the main square, one can't find a better location! Right out the back door is the oldest pub in Bremen! Each room purportedly has a different design. Our room was, I guess the Egyptian room. Bed was extremely comfortable, room was very clean and spacious. Hotel staff were beyond kind. Bremen is a great place to visit. This Boutique Hotel only makes the visit more enjoyable..

When I arrived to check in I was surprised that I had to walk through a restaurant/cafe and go to a little office in the back on the cafe. There was no one there. I sat there, ignored, for 5 minutes before I asked one of the waiters at the cafe if someone can help me. The lady was a bit rude and said someone is coming. Another 10 minutes. A guy finally came and helped me. He said the lady who works at the desk is late and will arriving soon. Finally the hotel lady arrived and was a bit rude. Not very professional at all and seemed annoyed at having to show up to work. The entrance is at the back in a alley when the cafe is closed and you swipe your key card to enter the stairwell. So definitely not getting a star for customer service or professionalism. The room I got was on the top floor overlooking the square. Wow! All the weirdness at the check-in was overridden by the room which was nice. Not top notch, but the architecture and ambience made it fun. The bathroom was also very nice. Sadly Bremen doesn't have a lot of historic hotels with character--mostly horrible business hotels and American chains which have little character. So given the spectacular location of the hotel, the incredible view, and the family-run quirkiness--I would stay here again in Bremen. They also have excellent coffee and croissants for breakfast (at extra charge). But given the very economically priced rooms it's not a big deal.

Lovely room, nice staff, a real experience. We will stay again. Very central with amazing German cake and a terrace. The breakfast was ok but maybe we just chose wrong. Nice place to stay in Bremen. Room was excellent, location excellent, just a nice place to stay.

Very bad experience, the bed was the worst I never had in my life!! Two very lite matresses as a sandwich layer where one on top of the other, results that at every movement in the night you could fall out of the bed, inappropriate and unsafe matresses for a 4 star hotel !! you could rise a single matresses with one hand!! I couldn't sleep all night for such a misconfort!! Position is very good, breakfast a la carte , sounds to me very expensive but I will not argue about this!! The owner will be reached for arrangment!
