the bedrooms ( 2 single rooms were very comfortable. I greatly appreciated the fact that Davide on receptiion quickly replied to any request by email for any information about the hotel, before booking. All the receptionists, dining and cleaning staff were very friendly, helpful, efficient and professinal, I would recommend Hotel Orologio, its very centrally located, the international breakfast was superb

I have been to Brescia once before and stayed in a fantastic boutique hotel, the Locanda Delle Mercanzie however it was fully booked and instead I stayed at the Albergo Orologio which is not that far away. This traditional styled hotel is in an excellent location wight in the heart of the centre of the old town and with a huge array of restaurants and bars within just a few seconds of walking! It’s also only a five or six minute walk with a wheeled bag from the Vittoria Metro station. Very convenient. Check-in was easy, the receptionist greeting with a smiling face, giving advice, telling you about the hotel etc. It always makes you feel better when you arrive at a hotel and the staff are so warm and friendly! I had booked a single room but ended up in a double room. Wifi was excellent, a fridge in the room, toiletries, plenty of plug points, air-conditioning (although turned off at this time of year), a TV, seat and desk, a small safe (passports and small items…too small for a laptop). The room and bathroom were very clean. The furniture was old but it suited the character of the hotel. Old style, almost boutique like. Breakfast was delicious. Superb coffee and made for you by the waitress. Buffet style cereals, yoghurts, breads and croissants, cake cold meats and cheese. Maybe not the greatest variety but it was all tasty and I enjoyed it. Overall I thought this hotel was quaint, it was convenient, it was clean, very well priced and the staff were friendly. I would definitely consider staying again if I return to Brescia.

ALBERGO DELL’OROLOGIO ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️4 ECCELLENZE ED ERRORI Posizione strategica, in centro storico, vicino alla metropolitana. Stanze pulite, letti e cuscino nuovi e molto comodi, biancheria, ciabattine monouso, piccoli dettagli che rendono meno “vistoso” un arredamento un pó vecchio, i bagni andrebbero ristrutturati. Colazione dolce e salata con grande varietà e ottima qualità, peccato che i tavoli siano pochi e che spesso si crei attesa x potersi sedere. Nell’insieme l’esperienza è comunque positiva anche grazie alla gentilezza e disponibilità del personale. Consigliato.

Cosy, friendly albergo tucked away in a small side street behind the old clock in the city centre. Next to the Irish pub - which was definitely a downside as we were there for St Patrick's night! Looked like it had recently been refurbished as everything was spick and span.

The location was superb, right in the centre of the town yet also quiet for sleeping after 11pm. Breakfast was excellent, staff were most friendly and efficient. We rode with bicycles and safe storage was not a problem. Hotel had old world charm yet was also well appointed. Excellent value.

The city such interesting and clean and the citizens are politely. The hotel staff was kind helpful and friendly. The room not too big but we were 3. The dinner staff lady pretty kind and friendly, need this because the breakfast was enough poor. No vegetables no eggs, but the coffee world champion. The room is clean and silent, the beds are average. The free parking place on the castle way in the hill is 12 min by walk.

My wife and l stayed here for 3 nights. The staff where all very nice and helpful, 10 out of ten for the staff. We got a room on the 2nd floor and it was very nice and comfortable. There are a few negatives so, here we go. The fridge didn't work very well, which is due to only having electricity when the room is occupied, having to insert your key card to switch it on. The front of the property can be very busy and loud so, if your a light sleeper ask for a room at the back. All in all apart from the few negatives, we would deferentially stay here again. The breakfast was good and plenty full.
