The Brockton

My husband and I booked via Booking. Com. We were meant to stay in Nov 23 but we needed to change our dates. This was refused and the full payment was taken. Just be warned when considering this hotel that they won't accommodate any change of date. They ignored a request via my booking on the site. I phoned a few times before I got a rude refusal, and a mocking laugh when I said I'd contact *********** about it. Booking. com give conflicting info as their FAQs page says "changed can be made to your booking from your confirmation email - check in/out times... Change dates..." What they do not state clearly is that not all hotels allow this. When you book on a phone it's not obvious to see this policy. Be warned.

The hosts Phil and Kate (and family) were really friendly Everything was spot on we has a family room never seen a big b.room as big absolutely brilliant booked again for next year lovely holiday

We booked two rooms for two nights. My mother in law stayed in a twin with a sea view and we stopping in a ground floor room at the side of the building. We were greeted by Phil the owner who was very welcoming. The rooms had tea and coffee making facilities and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the towels were changed daily. Breakfast was very nice. The full English was delicious. There was a full range of cereals milk and orange juice. The location is in a nice quiet street a short walk from the town and 1 min from the beach. We had to park on the street as the spaces on the drive were taken but it’s free so no problems. I would stay there again and would recommend The Brockton. Keep up the good work.

My room was clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable with very fresh smelling bedding. Everything I needed was there. There was a good choice at breakfast & it was good quality and cooked well. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I’m so glad I chose this hotel. All the facilities with the traditional touches. Great value too. Thank you.🙏

13 of us stayed here for our annual golfing trip and thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality provided by Phil & Kate. Comfortable beds, free Wifi, tea/coffee tray, hair dryer, daily towel change, excellent shower with gels/soaps etc. TV with DVD player and multi choices of films to view and books to read. Excellent breakfast with multi choice of fruit juices, cereals, cooked breakfast, toast, tea/coffee and 5 different choices of evening meals every day. Great bar with reasonable prices, Free off street parking. We would definitely stay here again.

Family-run small hotel near to centre and just off seafront. Good breakfast and choice of evening meals can be ordered on a daily basis if required at breakfast. Friendly and homely. Loved our stay.

We visited last weekend March and found the Brockton to be everything we wanted for a short break. Phil and Kate the owners looked after us very well. The en suite rooms are spotlessly clean. The breakfast cooked by Kate was superb! There is a bar at hand as well. The hotel is a short stroll from the centre of Bridlington, and although it's just a few metres from the promenade, it was in pleasantly quiet surroundings. We would definitely recommend this as a place to stay in Brid.

My wife and I recently stayed overnight on a short break. Phil and Kate are very friendly and provide excellent service. Our room had a partial view of the sea and was clean, warm and comfortable. The only fault would be that the shower head was too low and the controls a bit fiddly to reach the correct temperature. The breakfast in the nice dining room was good and my vegetarian wife was catered for without trouble. We would recommend this small hotel and would definitely stay again.
