Boardwalk Burleigh Beach - Official

We stayed for 10 days in a 2 bedroom apartment in this perfectly placed apartment building. Its a reasonably new building and we usually stay at Broadbeach so new for us! The apartment was well equip but we would have liked a few more plates as you have to wash them after each meal by hand, not enough to start the dishwasher. The position is perfect if you like to wander into the main ***** and eat out (we do) and there are many lovely restaurants about a 5 minute walk away. The girls on the desk were so incredibly helpful, wasn't a thing they wouldn't do for you. The apartment is very spacious and as we were travelling with our daughter and one grandchild there was plenty of room for toys and gear you need when you travel with littlies. The pool area is lovely but a little on the small side in school holidays as it fills up quite easily when there are a few families in residence. on the whole we had a very positive experience and loved most things about the place, would definitely stay here again!

Delightful family stay at Boardwalk Burleigh Beach. Faultless customer service from the staff who couldn’t do enough to help. Great facilities including the pool/spa, huge gym and BBQ area, all very well maintained. The room and fixtures were in good order and included everything we needed. Be aware there’s some traffic noise for apartments on the highway side of the building, which made it less attractive to spend time on the balcony, but double glazed windows meant this wasn’t an issue for sleeping. Would definitely stay again, but maybe next time would pay the extra to stay on the ocean side.

This place is awesome staff are friendly and helpful the apartments have everything great location and view magical There is a gym swimming pool and an undercover barbecue area Gardens are maintained well and everything is spotless

We stayed 8 nights, we arrived to dirty toilets and dirty dishes. We had our room turned over/cleaned (included with our stay) and our little sons brolly sheet was not on the bed when we came back from the beach. Management made no effort to retrieve or compensate us for it.

we stayed in 3 bed apartment in july. i asked for the highest room possible and we had room 121 on level 19. view was superb. whale watching became our thing and we were amazed at the amount that were travelling up the coast. there were 2 separate lots of mums and calves over the 4 days we stayed and also 2 sets of stupid paddleboarders who harassed them. food is just there along James st. dont miss out on having breakfast at 2 yolks. the 2 negatives i had about apartment were the carpet needs a thorough clean as dust allergies were set off and the couch is dirty enough to wonder if we required a tetanus shot after sitting on it. that definitely needs replacing. the apartment did not have the feeling of a crisp cleaning service. super comfy beds. only noise was from construction workers, no road noise.

Not good customer service. Requested 1 bedroom ocean view. Got a construction site, scaffolding and the Gold Coast Highway. 6pm check in and could only contact reception which could only take a message as it was after hours. The next day reception cannot assist as they were supposedly booked. We arranged alternate accommodation for the last 2 nights of our 4 night stay. Reception staff said “The manager is happy to arrange a refund for your two nights”: 3 days later I contact Boardwalk by email and received a reply from “reservations” stating it will be arranged but they wanted to know my issue”. I again, told them my issue only to receive an email with no name attached only “reservations”. The replies were in my opinion abrupt, and not accepting criticism of their property. Tiny rooms and bathrooms compared to other new properties, car park exit caters for a small car or bike due to its layout. Spa cold and foyer smelt like baby powder. Oh, and it’s day 5 and still no refund. I didn’t bother mentioning the dust on skirting boards and sliding doors and mould on bedroom air con louvres which I cleaned myself. Consider Kirra or Coolangatta, comparable properties with genuine ocean view and better size rooms for same money. Only 15 min drive south on highway with lovely beach. Would not recommend or stay at Boardwalk.

Stayed here for the school holidays with my two kids. Accomodation was fine but noisy as it was in the back of the building facing the highway - don’t come here expecting a relaxing sleep in. The worst part is the kids and I tried to use the pool/spa on two separate afternoons only to find it was full of teenage boys and a few girls. They were owning both the spa and pool, the boys throwing the girls around and I didn’t feel comfortable there with the kids. Tried again in the evening (3hrs later) and the same youths were still there, this time imitating sexual acts and carrying on- it’s not something I want my kids to see. As a paying guest, I feel we should be able to use the facilities without feeling like we are in a R-rated club. There is no reception or on-site management after 4pm so don’t expect anyone to police what is going on. Only positive is this is beautiful location and close to amentities.
