Avis : Shangri-La The Marina, Cairns

J'aurais pu donner 5 étoiles, mais je ne l'ai pas fait parce que j'ai demandé à me donner une heure de départ supplémentaire, mais ils ont refusé. Ils ne se souciaient tout simplement pas de tous ces gens à la réception. Je ne reviendrai pas, il y a plein d'hôtels dans les environs, une petite promenade fait du bien ; De plus, le marché nocturne est de l'autre côté.

Great location and staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much to ask. Had an excellent stay and will be back again.

I booked for a seaview room but was given a carpark and a corner bit of seaview. Felt ripped off. I was staying in 1061. Pls avoid this if you have booked for seaview room. This room should not be sold as a sea view room. We certainly got a lot of tree views!

Very convenient location. Near amenities & many restaurants. All within walking distance

I stayed here twice - the first time, an ordinary room, the 2nd time, I thought maybe the Horizon Club might be a higher level. Before I say anything, I may choose to stay again for the location! This property is not 'Shangri-LA' as you would expect - the windows are all dirty which is disappointing for 'Marina View' rooms... The Horizon lounge furniture is closer to school lunch hall style, and the dinner - well, I don't eat in food halls with sausage rolls and spring rolls. We ate in the main street which was AWESOME!. The ping pong table is bent, bats are without surface, and the air hockey machine without pucks.. Basically a 'cashing in on the brand' experience...

Just okay :/ The staff was great and very friendly. However, the hotel quality did not match up with the standard we have seen at other Shangri - La Hotels. The paint on our door was badly peeling and the padded benches in our room were stained. Two of the outlets in our room did not have power. We ordered room service the first night and the rice that was sent was hard a a rock and stuck together. The location was great and the potential is there but this hotel is in need of some upkeep and a standards check. For any other hotel this would not be as big of a concern, but for the price and expectation of a Shangri- La Hotel, we were expecting a bit more.

Very good location, close to the Harbour and next to many nice restaurants.

Amazing hotel. Beautiful location with unbelievable views from the balcony. Swimming pool and facilities were outstanding.

Built on the pier right next to the cruises and tourist centre. Many dinning options down the ground floor. The hotel is old but under good maintenance

Location is great. Food is yummy. The amenities are little old, other than is perfect

Good location and fair service. Would be better if the fridge be filled with some drinks at lease some beer.

Walls a little thin however great location and close to the marina. Good view but most places closes early in cairns.
