Hotel Goan Heritage

I very recently visited Hotel Goan Heritage with people from work. We were honestly picky and particular of what we were looking for within a certain budget as we were a large group of 30 coming from all over India. All facilities provided by this hotel matched our needs. The rooms were big and cozy and very well kept. The swimming pool was huge and the hotel was connected to the beach so it was easy to go to when it wasn't raining. overall it was a great place to be at as during rains and off season , we spent most of our times indoor. The breakfast had good variety, alcohol was of good rates. Staff is EXTREMELY kind and welcoming. All in all , no complains and would HIGHLY recommend.

Horrible experience, we had booked multiple rooms for wedding and right from the checkin to stay it was outrightly pathetic. The reception treats you worse than street dogs as if they are doing you a favour by letting you stay and the entire team of staffs treat you as if you’re some prisoner hated by all of them. I won’t even recommend this hotel even if you’re getting it for free.

Extremely unprofessional staff, rude behaviour - the lady in the front office and the *** handling the gate doesn't have the basic hotelier etiquette. Being a hotelier myself, I cannot believe such behaviour is acceptable in our industry. This behaviour shall definitely be circulated within the FHRAI community by me. The General ***ager should definitely train their staff on soft skills and how to treat their guests in the hotel. Definitely not recommended.

The only reason I don’t give this the lowest rating is that it’s location is great. It is just on the beach. Otherwise everything about this place sucks. It is NOT KIDS FRIENDLY STAFF IS RUDE ROOMS ARE UNKEMPT AND HAVE SEEPAGE FOOD IS BELOW AVERAGE HISPITALITY IS HORRIBLE. On arrival, one Umesh at reception told us our booking is cancelled. He said we had not paid. On the contrary, we had booked on Agoda, saved my Credit Card and got a booking confirmation stating we will be charged on checkin. Umesh kept lying that he had sent a mail to make the payment. It was only after we called up an acquaintance in the staff that he offered the room. That really got our goat. WHY WUD SOMEBODY REFUSE AN ADVANCE BOOKING CUSTOMER when there are already vacant rooms in the hotel ???

Excellent location at beach side. A gate provides direct access to beach. Served nice breakfast with enough menu. Very spacious property with well maintained garden and pool. Room sanitation are timely and good however, few room lights were not working and also leakage of showers was there. Overall, a very nice stay.

I stayed here from 15-17 feb 23 To give me front room they charged me 1600 extra at arrival. I booked through online potal because they never replied to my mail for booking. Bad service. Every time the reception guy remind for checkout time even one day before check out. Reception staff is horrible. rooms are old and there is no internet. even though they claim to have wifi it never connects in the room. TV dish is horrible and most of the time shows bad weather when its sunny outside. They charge lot but servicw is bad. ambience in the resort os good and accebility to beach is excellent but you can get better at half the price. They only attend foreigners.. If you are desi you dont have any value to them. Gulami mentality 🤣🤣

The thing that stands out for the place, is its excellent location - it's right on the beach, with direct access from the hotel. The property is a large one and decently maintained. We stayed in their family suite - large rooms, with basic modern amenities and big attached balconies. A minor gripe was that the room had a musty feel when we arrived which triggered my allergies but it got sorted from the next morning. The staff was courteous and helpful, at times went out of their way to provide what we needed. The restaurant food options and quality are average. A couple of times room service was a little slow but honestly we didn't mind the occasional delay because our overall experience of the place was super.

The property is huge n with lots of greenery open space. The pool is big enough for kids and adults too. Rooms were neat and clean. Well kept and sanitized. Spacious rooms with mini fridge and toiletries provided. Bkfst options were good. Didn't try food there. Best thing about this plce it's a beach touch property. You can just go on the beach and it's a rear end of Calangute which is less crowded with shacks to enjoii...overall a fabulous place. We loved our 2 days stay without a single complaint.
