Il Capri Hotel

We stayed at this Hotel for 2 days in September. Our friend made the reservation via another travel platform. After paying 600 plus euros per night, we were under the impression that we would have stayed at a 5 stars hotel (for TripAdvisor4 stars). But, to our surprise, the tiny room (upgraded!!!) that they gave us, had: - N​O safe, - N​O fridge, - N​O TV!!! Unbelievable??? The same applied to our friend's room. The bird cage closet for our clothes, was half full of advertising clothing for sale. The bath had N​O amenities at all - not even Q-tips, but it was stocked again with creams-soaps, snacks (ok!) etc, for sale!! They even sponsored a sex toy!!! (photos of all above available on request). And if you did not have your own slippers, Yes!, they were selling their own for 160 euros. Apparently, we rented a small boutique not a Hotel room. Even a 3 stars small Hotel offers you some basic amenities. I strongly wonder how the Italian authorities issue the stars. The staff were extremely polite and friendly and were trying to please us under these circumstances. Two hours after my strong complains, they called to tell me they "found" a safe! and asked if I wanted it. And three hours later they also "found" a fridge and asked me again if I wanted it. I declined to both. I used my suitcase as a safe and drunk warm water. And of course, NOT a word about NOT having a TV in the room. Crazy? Unbelievable??...Yes! Avoid it!!! It is a cheat!!!

New Hotel, very clean and easy to find. Location: very close to center and restaurant. Il Capri hotel has a great view over the main harbor. …but also just on main road… very busy with both pedestrians, cars, busses… and therefore quite noisy. Rooms are ok, relatively spacious with good balconies… but decoration is poor and bathroom is really cheap… don’t forget your toothbrush or toothpaste… you will have to pay for it (in a room at 1,800€/night…that is really strange). Be careful when choosing your room… during week-ends there is a disco under the hotel and you stand a chance of not sleeping until 4 or 5am… again for a room at this price this is totally unacceptable. Breakfast is really not worth it and you will get better choices in nearby cafés.

Perfectly located. Stunning pool, restaurant, rooms, and service. Well priced. Pietro was indispensable and incredibly helpful on all accounts (and his team was incredible). This is a must stay, don’t pass this up!

Posto davvero molto bello, la camera pulitissima,spaziosa luminosa e con una vista da favola. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile,colazione dolce e salata abbondante e la vista dalla sala ristorante impagabile. Ci torneremo sicuramente

Vengo a Capri da sempre e conosco bene quasi tutti i 5 stelle dell’isola ,ma veniamo all’hotel Capri : la prima ,ed anche ultima impressione , è quella di essere vittima di scherzi a parte . I sevizi dell ‘hotel sono scarsi a parte una piccola piscina no S.p.A. E no palestra ma il bello viene con la stanza: no armadio , no televisione , no frigobar , ( dicono che è la politica della proprietà!!!) , al bagno nessun prodotto di cortesia a parte le ciabatte a pagamento!! , la domanda è : ma chi le da le stelle ??????

En estos días visite el Restaurante La Florentina del Hotel NH Capri, fue un día especial, un trato súper amable por parte de Danet, la quien nos atendió con esmero, bien sabor en la comida y exquisita presentación. Volvería a repetir nuestra visita

Questo posto con le finte 5 stelle in realtà non ha niente a che fare con lusso che uno si aspetta da 5 stelle, ma piuttosto scarsità di uno hostelo. Servizi pari a zero. Camere piccole, scomode, senza armadio, 2 attaccapanni scomodi, non c'è dove mettere vestiti, non c'è specchio! Mancano le cose fondamentali per un qualsiasi hotel, non c'è frigo nella camera!!! Non c'è un bollitore per farsi un tè o Cafe ( ormai normale dappertutto). In bagno nulla per ospiti, anzi cestino con i cosmetici a PAGAMENTO! C'è solo shampoo e basta, manca perticamente di tutto. Non c'è nemmeno un cottonfioc, dischetti struccanti, cuffia per i cappelli ( la doccia e in alto fissa)! Colazione ridotta a un succo un Cafe e un piatto. Se si vuole prendere qualsiasi cosa in più, tipo un altro succo o frutta, è a pagamento con conto salato! Lo yogurt si paga a parte! Sono ridicoli!!!! Uno che spende in una camera singola un patrimonio, si aspetta in cambio un servizio adeguato. Questo posto cerca di guardagnare sul tutto! Non li consiglio a nessuno!

Abbiamo soggiornato per 2 notti in questo storico e centralissimo albergo caprese recentemente ristrutturato con molto gusto. Alti e bassi, che si spera sono correlati al rodaggio della nuova gestione. Alcuni particolari sono sconcertanti: nelle camere mancano armadi, frigo bar e televisore; l’armadio resta la tua valigia e per dissetarti devi farti bastare una bottiglia d’acqua a temperatura ambiente ( senza bicchieri). La colazione, anche quella inclusa nel prezzo, è alla carta, senza alcun buffet; si sceglie da uno scarno menú anche il caffè; in astratto dovresti poter chiedere tutto, ma in realtà ti servono una bevanda, croissant o frutta. Dunque, l’impatto è indefinibile. Di contro, bisogna anche rimarcare la bellezza del posto e della veduta, la gentilezza del personale, il pregio della biancheria, il letto molto comodo. Ci si augura che si migliorino alcuni particolari per far tornare l’hotel Capri agli antichi splendori.

Отель Capri посетить не удалось из-за отсутствия у сотрудников отеля работать с современными сервисами бронирования. В мае мы забронировали номер в данном отеле на сайте Airbnb, внесли предоплату 50%. Позже на официальной странице отеля в Instagram в директе я также общалась с сотрудницей отеля, она интересовалась у меня, внесла ли я предоплату. За две недели до поездки мне написал в мессенджер владелец отеля и сказал, что моего бронирования нет, страницы их отеля на airnbn также нет, не принес извинений, просто поставил перед фактом. Более того, владелец отеля сообщил, что данная страница существует на airnbn уже 2 года (!) и о ее существовании они узнали только сейчас. Что мы имеем: люди, осуществляющие деятельность в сфере туристических услуг, не следят за тем, как позиционируют себя в интернете, не умеют работать с крупнейшими агрегаторами, не налаживают нормальную систему оплаты. Сотрудница знала о моем приезде, знала о предоплате и ничего не проверила, проявив недопустимую халатность. Особенно поразили 2 обстоятельства: 1) сотрудники отеля Capri каким-то образом нашли мой номер телефона, узнали мое имя (эти данные являются персональными и никто кроме конкретного человека с Airbnb не имел доступа к этим данным), однако, они каким-то "волшебным" образом смогли с ним связаться; 2) владельцы отеля предложили с ними "не ругаться", мотивировав это тем, что "сообщили мне об этом до приезда, иначе представляете, как бы было плохо". Даже не знаю, что делать с этой добротой. Поэтому уважаемые туристы, будьте аккуратны при бронировании, желаю вам не нарваться на таких непрофессионалов и красивую картину, дабы не испортить себе отдых. Всего доброго!
