This hotel is a unique experience of a converted 17 th century home. It is so stylish and gracefully furnished with the most exquisite fabrics. The bedrooms are gorgeous and beds and linen superb. The staff are the friendliest we have met and so personal, the breakfast was delicious. I have stayed in luxury hotels which don’t come close to the service, style, and friendliness of this amazing hotel, located by all the best shops and restaurants. We want to live here permanently- alas life and work beckons. Do it! Stay her and have a fantastic experience 🇨🇴♥️🇨🇴♥️

I spent 3 nights there, large room, very peaceful, great breakfast, great quality-price ratio compared to what is around which tends to be abusively expensive for what it is. Thank you Antonio for the great service, I would definitely be glad to come back!

Such a lovely place! Charming building with a lot of character while still being a comfortable, cool, clean place to stay. The staff was so nice (even though we don’t speak any Spanish) and the location was perfect—walking distance to everything in the old town.

Beautiful hotel at a great price point. Hotel Quero is a former colonial home that has managed to retain so many beautiful details. We stayed in the Grand Suite and the room was beautiful-we were in awe of the massive space, super tall ceilings, and spacious bathrooms. The air conditioner worked miracles in the heat, and we loved watching life go by from our balcony. Breakfast was generous-so much food and delicious. The rooftop pool was definitely a highlight for us. During mid day when the sun was hottest we would return to the hotel for a swim and I’m not sure how we would have survived without it. Also the hotel is very small and we barely saw anyone else which made our stay feel like a real escape, in a great way. Staff was excellent and accommodating. Also, we thought the location was perfect. Its in a quieter area of the walled city so not in the middle of all of the chaos-but definitely walking distance. We absolutely loved our stay.

The single-best hotel experience of my life. Great staff! Thanks, Adriana, Ena and the team!!! Beautiful room, the building blends natural spaces and beautifully restored architecture and well-designed spaces. Great breakfasts... Ena's arepas are singularly awesome! Adriana solved challenges with restaurant bookings and is a masterful concierge. The owner was present and went out of his way to ensure a wonderful stay.

Fantastic home away from home. The property but more importantly the people managing the property are such gems from the chefs to the ladies keeping the place immaculate to the reception team. They go out of their way to really make you feel at home and transport you to what life would have been in these Casa’ many a moons ago. Cannot recommend the place enough. Super location, great Breakfast (they even made us the special Arepa de huevo wth carne upon request) and lovely pool to soak in the Cartagena vibe.

Nice charming “boutique” hotel, a description often not accurate. Very pleased with stay. Clean and well run. Good breakfast helpful staff. Only issue was first night there was a problem with an internet signal booster and no internet in our room. Internet is not negotiable! The next night moved us to a different room which had adequate signal. For the hotel I think more accurate descriptions and pictures are necessary. Our first room was described as a junior suite which sets an expectation of a more than one room (excluding bathroom) instead of a well pointed but relatively small bed room. When booking I was trying to book a higher floor but could not tell from info provided. Some better descriptions and pictures would help. The sauna was funny considering that’s the effect of leaving the room in the tropical heat. Recommend.

I wish I could've stayed longer. The space is so nice, so quiet, so comfy... it seems like you're in your grandmothers house that lives in a mansion in the countryhouse. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. You order what you want and there it goes... fresh from the kitchen. Those huge doors, huge windows... makes everything appear clear and shine. It is really one of the best hotels I've stayed-in in my life. I decided to stay longer in Cartagena, and if I just knew, surely I'd have booked to stay the full lenght of my trip!
