Our stay here was part of a package with Air Transat. We arrived Friday and spent 3 nights here before heading to Decameron, Baru, for 11 nights. The hotel is very close to the "walled city" , which has so much history and a must if you stay in Cartegena. The hotel was a bit worn as far as rooms go with very loud air conditioning. Our friends complained of the same, so bring ear plugs. The beach is located right across the street. Food was very satisfying, with most of the same selection for breakfast and lunches. Dinner reservations are done on a mobile app, which is great. There are w bars, but not open at the same time, so getting drinks during the day means long lines and wet conditions at the pool bar. Also, the only restroom other than going to your room is by the pool. The highlight of our stay was Carlos Miranda! He was so helpful, especially if your Spanish is rusty or you don't speak it at all. We would come back just to see him!
