Bondgate Hotel East Midlands Airport

Good value, no frills but everything one needs. Mattresses and pillows are a little tired but having access to a kitchen for breakfasts was great. Very smooth checking in and out. Convenient and excellent value, with parking too. Recommended.

Fantastic spot, we’ve stayed here 4 times now and every single time we cannot find fault, it’s a lovely spotless room. Lovely facilities, car park and close to all local pubs/restaurants. We stayed for 2 nights instead of our usual 1 and cleaners came in which we didn’t expect and replaced towels cleaned round etc, this was a very nice addition and we were grateful for them, they do a fantastic job. Brill size room and bed, smart tv lovely shower/bathroom. Cannot recommend enough thanks so much for a great stay everytime.

Absolutely loved this place ❤️ We had a fabulous studio apar**ent, very clean warm and comfortable. All the amenities were there, we didn't need to ask for anything. Clean super soft bedding and towels. Lovely. Close to all the amenities of shops, restaurants, pubs and public transport. Definitely will be going back. Thank you for our wonderful stay.

Last minute booking and not disappointed! Absolutely lovely room fab location beautifully clean, will deffo stay again! Comfy big bed tea and coffee in our room, towels provided. Parking spaces I thought plenty of room we got one easily, local pub next door but one very welcoming, steps not far we walked up ‘little hill’ and arrived on the main high street. Thanks for a fab stay!

Stayed for half a night! due to early flight and everything was absolutely as it says on the tin. The access process worked perfectly, rooms clean and comfortable, and I'll definitely book this accommodation again for my next early flight as it was almost half the price of alternatives. If you're looking for an evening meal, we tried the nags head but quality and choice was not very good for what they charge and next time we'll try the castle. But in summary, couldn't fault the bondgate.

Great place to stay if you have a early flight. Clean tidy and easy to get too. Rooms comfortable with black out blinds, bathroom nice and tidy with nice fi**ents. Kitchen caters for your breakfast at ant Time. Tea and coffee In your room and plenty of milk if needed. Only downside the bed was terrible. Springs almost through and uneven and wobbly. Pillows are flat. Also parking limited. Would stay again, depending on room and bed 😁

We booked this hotel at late notice as decided to stay in Castle Donington following a birthday meal with a large group of friends and this was walkable to the restaurant. We hadn't realised it was self-service in terms of check in or breakfast, but these worked very well. We were texted a code on the day to access the front door and given our room number with another code. There are two parking spaces at the front of the hotel and a couple more at the rear of the property. Our room (number 1 on the ground floor) was spacious and clean and we appreciated the bottled water as it was a warm day. A small minus point was that the windows were frosted at the bottom so you can't actually see out unless standing on a chair! A large shared kitchen with two tables plus chairs was available to cook your own meals. Breakfast was help-yourself with a very good choice of items such as bread, cereal, pain au chocolat, croissants, preserves, peanut butter, eggs, yogurts, cheese, fruit, a selection of tea, coffee and juice. You just had to wash up so the kitchen was tidy for other guests. An excellent idea! It was ideal for our purposes and would stay again.

I booked two rooms at the Bondgate as we were flying out of East Midlands early the next day. We arrived and parked in the hotel parking. As there are no staff on site they sent us codes to get into the hotel and rooms. The rooms were bright modern and airy. Beds were kingsize and very comfortable. Facilities were excellent. You do have full use of a kitchen on the ground floor where juices, tea, coffee, cereals and toast can be made. It was certainly a different hotel concept but it did work well. If I am again flying out early from east Midlands airport I would definitely stay here . Very good value for money

Stayed for one night when racing at donington, 10 mins from circuit easy secure check in, self help breakfast suited us, great room powerfull shower very clean and comfortable good value would stay again
