Marvel of Cappadocia

Misleading and untruthful. Amenities were not truthful. Rooms are NOT soundproofed; you can hear every little conversation. People are non-stop sitting outside on the porch, not to mention air balloons flying over the hotel every morning from 5am to 7am (plumes of hot air). They didn't want to give us different room unless we pay extra. This hotel has only 8 rooms of which 3 are standard (on the ground), 2 are "suits" (exactly the same as standard, you get little terrace and foyer) and it has a regular tub instead of shower, but they called it jacuzzi. They do not have valet parking. This hotel is connected to 2 other hotels on each side and the photos are completely deceiving and I thought that all those rooms belong to this hotel. All of the photos are over photoshopped and are misleading. Rooms are actually very dark with limited lighting and small windows. In the photos are shown very bright and decorated. I reserved this hotel 3 weeks before our arrival and I also booked an airport transport from the Kayseri airport to the hotel, They only communicated with me via chat option in Turkish, I had to translate everything they said and was hoping that they will understand me. They told me to remind them a day or two for the transport!! However, when I was already in Turkey, I was unable to log in into the chat of my *********** because the wifi there was not private so I could not remind them on that chat. Instead, I sent a direct email from my email to them as a reminder and a confirmation. When we arrived to the airport, there was no one to pick us up. We ended up driving with some other driver who tried to rip us off. When we arrived to the hotel we told them how no one waited for us and they said that I did not confirm. When I opened my email, I noticed that they replied 35 min after we already arrived to the airport. They did not even apologize or took into the account that this was their fault. Our room was never cleaned or refreshed during our 3 nights stay. Toiletries, water and toilet paper was never replenished. Toilet papers were all partially used, we found some in the cabinet. Bathroom is moldy and very humid due to no ventilation. Check out my photo, ceiling. Breakfast is not served at times listed. Instead, it is 9:00-11h. It is not even a buffet (self-serving) as shown on the pictures. Instead, there is just one lady cooking and preparing everything and they bring it to your table. All condiments are in small dishes, and I am not sure if they throw it away after each customer or if they just add to it... Staff barely speaks English, especially the night person. This hotel is falling apart, literally. Every day we would find small crumbles of rocks on our bed, shower, sink, suitcase etc. Location is off, and it not convenient for anything. TV was not working.

Cumartesi akşam giriş yapıp pazar öğlen çıktık otelden. Ankara’dan kaçtığımız bu kısa tatilde Marvel of Cappadocia bize çok iyi geldi. Temizliği, odaları( biz jakuzili odada kaldık), kahvaltısının doyuruculuğu, odadaki eşyalar ve ikramlar, teras, sabah 05.30’da kalkıp balonları izleyebildiğimiz muhteşem manzara kısacası hepsi bir aradaydı. Murat Bey’e rezervasyon esnasındaki yardımlarından dolayı ayrıca teşekkür etmek isterim. Bir daha gelirsek gene tercih ederiz gönül rahatlığı ile.

Çalışanların ilgisi güler yüzü bizi evimizde hissettirdi. Biz deluxe oda da kaldık ve ***et rahat ettik. Kahvaltı muhteşem ve eksiksizdi, şu da olsaydı diyebileceğimiz bir eksik yoktu. Konum olarak her yere yakındı. Sabah odanın balkonundan balonları izlemekte ayrı bir keyifli. Kapadokya ya her gelisimizde artık adresimiz belli. Özellikle Büşra ve Leyla hanıma teşekkür ederiz. Tereddütsüz tercih edebilirsiniz.

bu otelde kalmaya yorumlardan sonra karar verdik. çok iyi bir karar verdiğimizi gidince anladık :) artıları: +kaldığımız oda üst katlarda bir odaydı ve çok güzeldi. önünde kendine ait terası vardı ve bu mükemmeldi +kahvaltı beklentimin çok çok üzerindeydi +kendine ait park yeri vardı +çavuşin çok sevimli bir yer +gani bey çok ilgili ve profesyonel bir işletmeci (genç yaşına rağmen) eksileri: - oda çok büyük olmasına rağmen banyo kısmı biraz küçük kalmış. bu da büyük bir eksi sayılmaz
