Magnifique petit hôtel très bien placé à Porto. C’est beau, raffiné, feutré. Le petit déjeuner est très agréable. Petit cocktail de bienvenue. Nous étions au 3ème étage, côté jardin avec balcon. Je recommande ++++ Le personnel est adorable, discret et attentionné.

A very unprepossessing door from the street leads into a wonderful hotel furnished to a very high standard with superb staff. Far exceeded our expectations and i couldn't recommend it highly enough. The rooms are a good size with high ceilings, the beds are high quality and the bathroom quite stunning. We were fortunate enough to have the room on the first floor with a balcony leading straight out onto the walled garden - an oasis of peace. The hotel has a vegetarian/vegan restaurant attached and the bar produces wonderful cocktails.

We found the entrance way & communal areas of the hotel tired looking & uninviting. Our room was the biggest disappoin**ent; stained carpet, curtains hanging off the rail, scruffy slippers, dirty balcony, a tiny shower inside what felt like a cupboard, broken kettle. The list goes on. We emailed the hotel asking for a room change & we were given a curt response saying there were no rooms available. They changed the slippers for some slightly less worn ones the next day & attempted to fix the curtain but it remained broken and the room & the responses continued to disappoint. We gave the hotel ample opportunities before writing a public review to respond and rectify the situation but our last email remains unanswered. They took full payment on booking, and it seems that that is where their interest ends. Such a shame because Porto is beautiful & the photographs of this hotel seem like it’s a lovely place to stay. Do not recommend.

Amazing, cozy hotel with a very high quality feel. Great breakfast with fresh fruit and pastries, tasty eggs and high quality basics. Very very clean and the staff is the nicest ever - period. We would one hundred percent come again and wholeheartedly recommend it. The restaurant is vegan friendly and they always take care to consider any allergies or anything else. They have a phone in the room where you can call or even text the reception with anything you need. The beds were comfortable and the shower spacious and very clean! P.s.: The door and glass panel to the bathroom are see through so maybe best for partners.

Celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary in Porto. We wanted a small hotel without the feeling of a corporate chain. This hotel was perfect. Just a 10 minute walk from Trinidade Metro and away from the crowds. Our room was 3rd floor - we loved the view, really comfy bed, pillows and linen, great bathroom. Service was exceptional - friendly without being intrusive - nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice and all good quality which varied daily. We had a very early morning flight home and were left a perfect breakfast picnic to take with us.

This Guest House exceeded our expectations. The photos on the site did very little to capture the charm, beauty and warmth of this finely designed and considered space. If you're someone who appreciates design, this is the space for you. Vegan or vegan friendly? Their restaurant is beyond delicious (and really pretty). Like a good cocktail? The most inventive and delicious cocktails I've had in ages. We stayed in a Deluxe room with a terrace facing the front of the house. Again, charming and very comfortable. The common space leading to the room is also really beautiful and well considered. The top floor has 2x additional rooms and a private common area accessible only to those on staying on this floor. It's an ideal setup for families or a small group as it feels like a private home. The garden in the rear of the property is lush and picturesque. It's perfect for cocktails or dinner. I really can't say enough about this place. The super friendly and helpful staff will make you feel at home and you'll be happy you stayed here.

Everything about our stay was exceptional. The room (deluxe loft) was just beautiful; spacious, so tastefully decorated & furnished, the bed v comfy, the view from the balcony over Porto & the relaxing chairs - lovely. The breakfast experience was so relaxed & tasty - inc fresh orange juice, pastries, breads, overnight oats, cheese, and eggs to order as you like. Location is great - away from all the Metro modernisation mayhem down town with great local restaurants nearby off the mega tourist trail. The garden area is very relaxing also - an added bonus. But what really makes the place is the attitude and friendliness of all the staff we dealt with; nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel most welcome. Even v late at night after our flight was delayed...... I'm exceptionally fussy when travelling & this is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. And it felt very comfortable & relaxed. So much so - we're booked to come back in September! Don't bother looking anywhere else for a boutique hotel experience while in Porto - I can't imagine you'll find better.

Wow, what a wonderful place to stay. It is rare that we feel immediately at home when you walk into the door. We loved everything, the décor, the room with its high-quality bed and bedclothes. All immaculate clean and beautifully designed. Very rarely that we slept so well in a hotel. The access to the idyllic inner garden invites you to have a drink and relax after a long day of sightseeing. The Restaurant Jardineiro has a good choice of delicious vegan food. The Guesthouse is ideally located, all within walking distance to the centre of Porto. A big THANK YOU to the friendly and very helpful personnel. They made our stay even more special. Last but not least a big complement to the owner of the Guesthouse. You truly renovated this 19th century townhouse to a real treasure. We enjoyed our full week to the last minute.
