Beautiful location, just 800 metres from the Bandipur Tiger Reserve, 5 bungalows amidst coconut palms, a few monkeys clambering in the trees...what more could anyone ask for. Food was cooked exactly the way I wanted it, the chef visited before the evening meal to discuss opticians. It was idyllic. Staff were so friendly and eager to assist, at one time the number of staff outweighed the number of guests. The only disappointment was that the swimming pool was under repair, and was unusable. Swimming in those surroundings would have been the icing on the cake. I recommend a few nights stay, cut off from the world, total relaxation.

We loved staying at this property, which was having a spacious garden spread over. Though the property is big, but have only 5 rooms, so if you are planning as a group, please plan well in advance to avoid disappointment on availability. Mr Vimal, Manager was very receptive and was always available for any support. He could arrange for a safari for us. Also need to mention the excellent services extended by Mrs Prema & Mr Bala, Chef, who was willing to prepare food as per our choice. It was great experience all together and we will definitely plan an another visit.

Great place to stay in Bandipur. The location was just 500m from the entrance of Bandipur national forest Safari. Plenty of space for parking. The entire place was lush green with trees and garden. We stayed here for 3 nights and had great family time. There are only 5 cottages in the entire place so we had the whole property for ourselves! Food was great. We requested authetic Tamil meals for lunch on our second day and that was the super delicious. Amenities include swimming pool, cycles, volleyball, table tennis etc. (A pool or snooker table would have been an icing on cake). Staff were courteous and polite. They even arranged the safari. Need to inform them early. One may also visit Mudhumalai elephant camp which is a few km from here and the drive was amazing. We saw elephants, peacocks, deers on the way. One may also visit the Himada Gopalaswamy temple and the sunflower field near Gundlupet.

Words and pictures won’t be able to justify the perfection this property has in store for its guests…. Very well maintained lawns , preserved nature, lush green lawns , hospitable staff , cleanliness , delectable food etc etc You name it and they have got you covered Special shout out for Vimal and Santhosh , Chef Bala for being so so Co operative and welcoming to our demands , Nathan , Saurav , Shantanu , Sneha and the entire team here who made our stay very very pleasant and memorable P.S Beware , you might add a lot of calories during your stay as the food is irresistibly tasty…

One of the best places to relax and enjoy your vacation. The property is well maintained and the rooms are clean. The staffs are friendly. The manager Bimal helped us with Safari booking and we also were lucky to spot the Tiger. Thank you Shanthanu for your exceptional service. The only thing where you can improve on is the Food. Though the food is good, you do not have too many options and the prices are way too high.

Stayed here for three nights with my family from 21st May to 24th May 2024. It is a perfect family friendly base to explore Bandipur. The fact that they don’t serve alcohol and pork sealed the deal for us or we would have had to look elsewhere. This resort has five rooms in 7 acres which makes it exclusive, we were the only people in the pool for three consecutive days same was the case with the dinning area (to be honest we organised it with the restaurant staff that way but the point is ,it is possible due to the limited number of guests). The room we had (though on the basic side for the price) was comfortable and large enough to accommodate two extra beds for the children. The house keeping staff was on point as we had to just leave the key in the door and inform them before going for our meals and on our return the room would be immaculate (apart from the clutter of our opened bags). The food was good not as good as their other hotel - kings cliff ooty though but still good. We had taken the all meals plan. The assistant chef Hemant kumar went the extra mile for us, he would come to to the verandah of our room to discuss with me the menu, advice and take our order, it’s was these little touches which made our experience exclusive. Then another dilemma we had was that there were no jeep safaris available at Bandipur online or otherwise, this is where the Manager Vimal stepped in and got us not one but five Jeep safaris for the next three days at Bandipur and we did one extra in madhumalai. Vimal even advised us on our stay at kings cliff as to which room to select as he had worked there earlier. He called kings cliff checked the availability and booked the room which suited us best. It would be wrong if I didn’t mention Shantanu the head waiter at the restaurant, we never heard a single no from this person, for instance we told him we want to eat by the pool after swimming as the children wanted to maximise their swim time he was like “ sure sir no problem “, “Shantanu is it possible to be served in the gaming area the children have got a good game of chess going” - “sure sir no problem”. “Shantanu this Shantanu that” and Shantanu was like “sure sir no problem”. I mean he just put us at ease. There are other staff Members also worth mentioning but these three stood out. The head chef Bala and his wife were also accommodating and courteous as well, apart from him serving us half a white brownie on our last day (he fell short I guess) we have nothing against him. Santhosh was polite and helpful and great to talk to, so were Saurabh and Sneha. All in all a great stay, would definitely recommend.

The property is beautiful, serene and takes you back to a simpler, more peaceful time. Highlight of stay was fresh food prepared by Bala and lush greenery around and its farms. Their hospitality made all the difference. Our relax- max weekend included hammock afternoon, swimming, fresh wholesome food, birds chirping.
