If you like island living and are seeking a unique romantic get-a-way, you will LOVE our property. With a Caribbean/surfing theme you will be able to enjoy your stay with us in a private setting. Our ADULT ONLY cozy cottage has two rooms but all you need to relax and unwind. The outside area has tropical trees along the pathway to our pool and sun deck for your enjoyment. Music is also an added pleasure around the pool area with outdoor sound system. The garden shower (and only shower) is just outside the cottage doors, completely private and unique as you can see in the photos. Our guests have a private entrance to the cottage on the back of the property. There is a cozy porch with Adirondack chairs for relaxing. Bicycles, Beach chairs, surfboard, and cooler are provided for your beach fun. The property is located behind our home on a quiet cul-de-sac with no noise except for the songbirds chirping in the mornings. Short 10 minute drive to either Folly Beach or to downtown historic Charleston. We have many guests celebrate honeymoons, weddings, anniversaries, graduations, and other Charleston events throughout the year. A long list of things to do as well as favorite restaurants are provided by past guests as well as family and friends. Our pool is unheated and located behind the main home and being the only guests, you will be able to enjoy it on your own. We have a strict no-pet policy so please do not ask for an exception. Lovely Lil Cottage
This was a sweet lil oasis that was a 15 min drive to all things Folly Beach. Our host was thoughtful & great with the communication. Thank you. We truly enjoyed ourselves.

Cute bungalow, but not by the beach
We had a lovely time staying here, but felt like it maybe overemphasized it's closeness to Folly Beach. Loved the outdoor shower, but for a "romantic" stay would definitely have preferred to have a door on the bathroom. Also definitely had a mildew problem and all our clothes came home smelling of damp.

A great little hideaway near the beach
It was our first time to Folly Beach and my wife and I stayed at the Kokomo Cottage. We stayed for 2 nights and it was the perfect little stay. Easy access to the beach and to Charleston. After a morning at the beach, we floated in the pool and captured some more sun. It had everything we needed and felt very private. Nice design touches makes you feel you're right at the beach. Would definitely consider if my wife and I are looking for an easy getaway!

Enjoyed our staycation at Kokomo

The beautiful bungalow
We loved Ken and Christine. They’re so sweet and chill. They had all the beach stuff you could need !! It’s a little pricey for the amenities you’re getting though. It is indeed a shared pool. Not private. The bed was not as comfortable as I thought it would be. Overall we’re super chill about where we stay. Just a few things to consider.

Kokomo Cottage made our stay unforgettable!
We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Kokomo and didn't want to leave! Ken and Christine are lovely people, were very accommodating, and you hardly knew they were around. The location is perfect as it's 10 minutes to downtown, 10 minutes to Folly Beach, and 30 minutes from the airport. The cottage is a perfect romantic getaway or an excellent base of operations from which to explore all the area has to offer. We can't wait to visit Kokomo Roatan next!

Slice of Relaxing Paradise!
We absolutely loved our 5-night stay at Kokomo Cottage. It was quiet, peaceful and exactly what we needed after a hectic tax season. Rather heading to Folley Beach, or downtown Charleston for a day of shopping, sightseeing or an incredible dinner, the Cottage is centrally located to everything we wanted to do. Owners ensure your privacy and were very helpful, as needed! We loved our vacation and didn't want to leave! Thanks Ken and Christine!!!
