« Checking in at the main Oddfellows hotel was smooth but it would have helped to have the exact address of the apartment in advance, so we could park more easily. There is one parking space at the apartment but it is a tight entrance!
Apartment 5 was upstairs and very spacious. The lounge/kitchen/diner was well set up and the tea and coffee available was very welcome. Bedrooms and bathrooms were large, comfy and clean (but could do with a few hooks for towels or coats). There is even a laundry room. Decof is quirky and the location is great - just off the main streets. Fabulous place to stay. »

實際車站這邊右轉3分鐘路程有其它兩個賓館，比如Lloyd Hotel會好點，實際價格也是55~60鎊左右 »

« Great Hotel, with lovely rooms ( I tad dated for some tastes). Service was first class, with a lovely meal in the brasserie eaten. Breakfast is high standard with good old table service, the brasserie is a lovely room for meals. Wife had a massage in the spa, which was one of the best she had had!
Car park near Hotel, cases taken to room, staff very friendly and more than happy to help.
Location right in the middle of Chester for close access to shops, Bars and restaurants
Only Negative, Breakfast could have been hotter. And added service charges to bill automatically.
Drinks are very expensive, but to be expected for a 5 start Hotel »

« A proximité de l'hôtel Chester, il y a un parking gratuit ouvert très pratique, la chambre est propre et le lit est également très confortable, mais l'hôtel n'a pas d'élévateurs pour porter ses bagages au sol. L'eau de la chasse de l'autre chambre est parfois faible. Le petit-déjeuner est très délicieux. »

« Lovely last minute get away.
The canal view room was spacious.
Lovely hotel, the staff were super friendly and helpful.

« A place with old world charm and in a great location. The double bed we had was on the small size, so we wished we'd selected a twin room. Breakfast was good, though water should be provided without having to ask. The coffee was a disappointing lukewarm warm filter type, despite there being a decent machine in view behind the bar. »

SSRI I.An ideal location within walking distance to Chester City Old Town, Chester Castle and Chester Cathedral. Overall lovely apartment with the view of Chester City Wall and sunset over the Racecourse. Special mention of Aisha, friendly and helpful front-office officer, she made our stay a truly memorable experience.

IInvitéFirst class experience and have recommended this hotel to others already. Location is the definition of perfect for train travellers to Chester, station literally across the road.
Steeped in history the rooms all quirkily named after kings & queens, furnishings a nod to royalty and bygone era's as well.
Beds extremely comfortable, the only downside of the stay was the fact the hotel is of an older style there was noise during the night which I attributed to water moving in the pipes which disturbed sleep pattern a little.
The room rate we obtained via Trip.com however was nothing short of outstanding, and was remarked upon by the chap checking us in, how 'the people he had checked-in immediately before us had paid well over £100 more for the night'.
Overall a fabulous experience we would definitely repeat.

TT5732Un hôtel décent et nouveau construit. À une position confortable, près d'un Waitrose, le centre ville et la gare Chester. Recommandé pour ceux qui souhaitent rester à Chester. Le seul problème est que certaines des bougies de lumière sont brisées. Et je voudrais dire que Chester est une grande ville avec de nombreux bâtiments historiques.

DDrVicThe location of this hotel is great, very close to Chester and all the attractions around.
In terms of the room, our room was very spacious and the bed was very big. However it was two singles joined together, so a gap between the two.
This is probably where the good bits end. The size of the room and bathroom really was a positive though, especially travelling with a baby.
We had to pay £5 to hire a travel cot and in the end we didn’t use it. The cot mattress appears to have never been replace and was very thin and lumpy, making it redundant. The wooden slates at the bottom of the crib could be felt very dominantly through what was left of the mattress, meaning our baby was waking up uncomfortable and we had to transfer him to the bed.
In terms of things that could do with improvement:
Cleanliness
The room floor was very dirty and could have benefited from an additional vacuum. Initially I put this down to arriving on New Year’s Day and then having a lot of people check out that day, but the whole hotel appeared a little bit grubby on closer inspection.
The spa pool was exceptionally dirty. The floor coming out of the changing room covered in hair and general dirt. The showers looked like they hadn’t had a good scrub in months, with yellow build up all over the floor and walls. Not what you expect from a spa! To top it off after swimming I have contracted the Norovirus.
Service
Our first encounter with the reception staff was great the lady very welcoming and friendly. We met the cleaner as well who was also lovely. The rest of the staff we encountered were not so great. Either rude or disinterested, I get that it might not be your dream job but service with a smile goes a long way.
Facilities
The hot water takes a while to come through at busier times, this is signposted in the room. However, the water does not get very water at all. It does come through at a pleasant temperature, but not great if you like a bath or shower on the warmer side.
There are three times a day when you can go swimming with children. It would be great if these times were restricted to children/families only, as there were quite a few adults sitting around the poolside and in the hot tub.
Breakfast was ok, but a lot of the time left uncovered.
Overall not a great stay and would be unlikely to stay again.

IInvitéA little piece of heaven! The room was very comfortable, well designed and with lovely nautical features throughout. On arrival, parking was excellent, friendly helpful staff, within minutes we were sat by the window, overlooking the fast flowing river, being entertained by the wildlife whilst enjoying a well earned drink after a nearly three hour drive! Location was perfect, breakfast, a joy! A birthday treat for my special girl which couldn't of been better, we will return.

IInvitéFor the most part, this is a lovely hotel. It cost us around £7 for a taxi into Chester and the rooms are clean. The majority of staff are incredibly friendly. However, while out during the day our keys were deactivated to force us to the reception so that the manager could corner me about where my car was parked - which had been mentioned to another member of staff during check in and they had said it wasn't a problem. She had been trying to call me on the hotel room phone ”all day”, which is a ridiculous approach as who sits in their room all day? If she had just called me on my mobile number, which was used to book the room, I would have happily come back and moved the car. She demanded I move it in that moment and I explained that I'd had a drink but I'd move it in the morning. She then said she would move my car, which I wasn't comfortable with. She then walked away from me and wouldn't allow a rational, adult conversation. The tone and attitude were accusatory and her frustration clearly misdirected when she has made no realistic efforts to contact me; we were in the hotel until 11am and, as I said, I had my phone with me all day. I tried to explain to the reception staff why my car was where it was, and that I had discussed it on a rival and was dismissed with a ”well I wasn't there so I wouldn't know” then she smirked at another guest. It's such a shame that has really put a dampner on the stay for us, as it was totally unnecessary.

L'hôtel est très propre et bien équipé, seul le bas est l'emplacement qui ne se trouve pas à pied au centre-ville mais ce n'est pas un démarrage parce que le parking de cet hôtel est beaucoup plus facile aux alentours du centre-ville.

LlilyL'appartement de service est propre. Il est proche du centre-ville. Les chambres sont grandes et confortables. La cuisine est belle. Je suis sûr que je réserverai cet hôtel à nouveau et que je recommande fortement à mes amis.
