Everything you would want from a country pub, great beer, great food, very good rooms and, excellent customer service.

The Greyhound is in a great location in a quite rural village. Fifteen minutes from Lambourn. The rooms are comfortable. Fresh Milk is provided daily in a thermos for making drinks in your room. You are made to feel welcome upon arrival. The bar provides an excellent range of cask ales (x4) most from the immediate area. The food at breakfast and evening meal is always delicious and well presented. All staff provide a friendly and efficient service.

Wonderful 2 night stay in this well presented Inn in a lovely quiet village. Staff were extremely welcoming, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the food both at dinner and breakfast was superb.

What a fab place. Beautiful rooms, excellent food and welcoming staff. Highly recommend, and we will look forward to staying here again.

A warm welcome from friendly staff led us to delightful accommodation and followed by a delicious meal with good wines. A great nights sleep was followed by an excellent breakfast and concluded with a value for money bill

The Greyhound Inn exceeded our expectations and more. The service, the food, the rooms, the quality - it was absolutely brilliant. We felt like we were at home - the service was top-notch and topped with the amazing food, we'll be back!! Thank you for such a great weekend and for appeasing our needs rushing between a wedding and your venue.

We have just enjoyed another gorgeous stay at The Greyhound - sumptuous food, delightful service and divine beds and rooms. We will return again!

Stayed for one night. Booked online in advance for room & restaurant but booking confirmation for restaurant went to a totally different e-mail address to the accommodation booking and one which I did not use and so was seen by the person I was making a surprise booking for. Not a good start. I was told that the stay would be made ‘special’ or ‘memorable’ or some such but there was nothing provided or offered or discounted so I have no idea what that meant. Anyway……..check-in fine. Room at very top (Wantage) fine. Sat and drank next to the bar. Service good, beer good, wine good. Had dinner at another table (set for dinner) and the service and food were both very good. Slept well (which is good for me as sometimes I don’t in strange places) and considering the room overlooks the road it was quiet (Letcombe Regis is not a busy place anyway). Breakfast was very good in fact I would go as far as to say excellent. Excellent service. All in all I think one of the best stays anywhere (others have been more luxury but not as comfy) and one of the best meals I’ve had here. And I would say good value in total.
