Llangollen Hostel Guest Rooms - No Dormitories - Self Catering

We booked the entire Hostel for our family Christmas. We spent four nights and were a party of 11 adults and 5 children and 3 dogs. The booking process was easy and any questions we had were quickly responded to. The Hostel was ideal for us, it is centrally located in Llangollen which is a beautiful destination. The Hostel was immaculately clean and very well equipped, warm and welcoming. We cooked and eat all our meals at the Hostel and the kitchen and dining room space was homely. Jamie had decorated the Hostel for Christmas and he was available to deal with any queries and was amazingly helpful and friendly. The drying room was very useful. We could find no fault with the Hostel and would certainly recommend it for a large group of family or friends. Thanks again Jamie for everything.

This is the second time we have stayed as a family at the hostel and it won’t be our last! Like last year, it was immaculate, cosy, comfy, perfect location and exceptionally good value for money. Jamie was a fabulous host again. 💯 recommend this and will continue too. I look forward to coming here which will be every year! Thank you 🙏

A group of friends spent a lovely weekend in this centrally located hostel. Clean and comfortable rooms and a very well equipped kitchen. Jamie was an amazing host...welcoming and helpful about every aspect of our stay. Highly recommend.

Should we visit Llangollen again we will definitely stay here, it is superb, Accommodation is great and very clean, the owner is very helpful and welcoming. Why pay £150 for an en suite hotel room when you get just as good for £59 here? One word of caution, when driving in Welsh built up areas the speed limit is 20mph.

Llangollen hostel is outstanding in many ways. The hostel is located in an ideal location close to the town centre. We had two rooms at the top of the building which were immaculately clean, had comfortable beds and with access to a spotless bathroom with a great shower. The communal areas were fantastic - a well - equipped and organised kitchen and dining space; and a comfortable homely living room with books, games and a guitar. Booking; communications and check in/out were very efficiently handled by Jamie the manager of the hostel. Staying at the hostel was exceptionally good value for money - cheaper than all the other hotels/b & b's we used that week (whilst walking on the Offas Dyke Path), but of higher standard than most. Llangollen itself is delightful.

We stayed as a family of four for 1 night for a family gathering near Llangollen. Jamie met us when we arrived and was really welcoming and helpful. The back of the hostel is accessible from the short stay car park and helpfully you can purchase a days pass at half price from the hostel. The family room was spotlessly clean l, the beds were really comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with communal tea and fresh ground coffee. Our girls loved that there were plenty of communal games to play with in the lounge. Given the access to good self catering facilities, you can save a lot on meals out. The hostel represents exceptional value for money and is perfectly placed to access Llangollen on foot. We’d happily stay again if visiting Llangollen again.
