Service terrible! I came to check in and they said my booking not on their system! Then asking me to Reebok again with special rate which is I refused due I already full paid this booking. Then I walk out to find other hotel. After complaints to Trip.com they said my booking available on their system and asking me to stay! I refused due I had booked new hotel and now they won’t agreed to refund 100% my booking.

Cet hôtel est la pire expérience que nous avons eu au Sri Lanka. Nous avions réservé via booking qui proposait des offres intéressantes pour une nuit. Nous sommes arrivées à 20h à l'hôtel après une journée entière en train, et le réceptionniste nous dit que notre chambre n'est pas encore disponible suite à un problème avec la clim, et que celui-ci devrait être réglé d'ici 30 minutes à 1h30. Aucun geste de compensation n'est proposé (dîner offert par exemple), le réceptionniste est extrêmement désagréable et nous "propose" comme unique solution de réserver une chambre dans un autre hôtel. Nous avons demandé à parler au manager, le réceptionniste ne l'a contacté qu'au bout d'une heure ! Le seul point positif de cet hôtel est la prise en charge gratuite de notre transfert vers un autre hôtel. Le pire dans cette histoire, c'est qu'un autre couple qui arrivait en même temps que nous a eu exactement le même problème, et c'est visiblement un problème qui arrive de manière régulière. N'allez surtout pas dans cet établissement qui n'a aucun respect pour ses clients.

I had the displeasure of staying at this hotel recently, and it was a nightmare. Starting from the breakfast was a complete disappointment, options were limited, and the quality was subpar at best ,save yourself the disappointment and consider eating elsewhere. My stay at this hotel was far from satisfactory. The inconsistency with providing amenities was frustrating; sometimes they were available, sometimes not.The absurdly limited hot water supply was another issue ,taking a shower felt like a race against time, as the water would turn cold unexpectedly. It's baffling that a hotel can't ensure a basic necessity like consistent hot water. Not to mention the hotel's management , which is utterly incompetent. From check-in to check-out, their lack of professionalism is astounding. The staff's attitude made me feel like a criminal rather than a paying guest. It's disheartening to be treated with suspicion and hostility when all you want is a pleasant stay. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone unless you enjoy the feeling of being unwelcome and under constant scrutiny. Despite being a long-staying guest ( 17 nights ), the treatment I received at this hotel was shockingly poor. The staff seemed indifferent, and any requests were met with reluctance. It's disheartening when loyalty is met with neglect. The lack of consideration for long-term guests reflects poorly on the hotel's commitment to customer satisfaction. Save yourself the frustration and consider other accommodations that value and appreciate their long-term patrons.

Especially this hotel has bit of weird room setup which is connecting rooms concept throughout the hotel as per the staff information and that’s really annoying for someone who is looking for silence n personal space cuz u can hear screams , loud talkings etc due all the rooms are separated just from a door which is obviously can hear each others talks from the other room. Staff friendliness depends on their moods. Some are really friendly while others are not at all bit disappointing. This hotel has their own $ rates which I realized later this time as it was not the amount which showed on currency exchange when they convert $ in LKR Definitely breakfast setup should be changed as I have stayed 3 times with the hotel , every occasions items were same n nothing really much changed. Kettle n cups there in the room but no tea bags for the 3 days I stayed which shows no set of SOP. Bit more focused on cleanliness of the corridors , surroundings would add more positive marks to the property. I hope one day they will improve so that future guests can have a better experience. There was trouble hotel. Service is not good. I booked hotel by wego include breakfast but the reservation told we can not provide breakfast because your reservation rate was less. Trouble reservation. Hire dryer not worked and not changed by them.

Very good hotel, clean and nice, also food was tasty, location great. Got all that needed for the pleasant stay. Staff was very helpful and no issues accured on our check-in, during the stay or on our check-out. If you use accomodation for that it is, you should be all fine- eat,drink and sleep 🙂

Booked to stay for 2 nights here via a well known hotel booking company. I was due to arrive at 2am into Sri Lanka from Ireland, hence why I booked from the day before so the room would be ready upon arrival. Flight was delayed so I messaged the hotel via the app and said it would be between the 3-4 am before I would arrive. Upon arrival at 4.15am, tired and sweaty after travelling all day , they had CANCELLED my room. And were allegedly booked out and had no rooms available I wasn't the only customer this happened too that night as someone else was sitting in the lobby having had her room also cancelled by the hotel. The staff member was no help whatsoever untill we started ringing other hotels to see if they had availability, then he offered to try help us find somewhere. I would not recommend this hotel based on this experience

please do not waste your time and money on this hotel. Mr Intragith and Gerard Perera (managers) made our stay very stressful. We arrived for early check in and went to shower and there was no water. We called and asked for this to be fixed and they said someone would be up in 5-10mins we waited almost 2 hours and nobody showed up we ended up having to go downstairs and find them. After them looking at it and making us wait a long time they said we could go out and they would enter the room to fix it while we were gone. Upon returning that night it was not fixed and we were unable to shower. The next morning we asked again for it to be fixed and they called our room saying it would be 5-10mins and we waited for 2 hours and once again nobody showed up and we had to go find them and wait again for the water to be fixed. At this point we had wasted hours of our limited time in the city due to this hotel poor management. They did not allow us change rooms instead had us go to a different room only to shower that first morning which was a very uncomfortable situation. When we asked to be properly compensated they only offered a free lunch for the inconvenience of the no water but we asked for an extra night due to them making us wait hours both days when we wanted to be exploring the city which they did not due and the manager took no responsibility for this. On the second day we alerted that our room needed to be cleaned while we were out for 6+ hours and when we returned it was not cleaned the bed was not made nothing had been done. We did not want our room cleaned late at night while we were in the room which is why we gave them so long to clean it in the day. This hotel experience was the worst part of our time in Sri Lanka with negligent management and unprofessional. The manager who unfortunately had to deal with is Gerard Perera who should be ashamed of the way he treated us as guests. Unfortunately in the end he continued to refuse to properly compensate us for ruining our vacation in Colombo. The other manager who failed to properly compensate us or manage is Mr Intragith

We were relatively happy with our stay at Trillium until we asked to get our laundry done. As we were travelling most days, we had to pay an extra 50% to get it returned in the same day. When the laundry was bought back to us, they were hesitant to hand it over until we had paid the fee (14,000 rupees). When checking through the laundry, my pashmina has been melted and my socks were all dyed yellow. When we realised this, we phoned reception and were promised someone would be down in ‘5 minutes’ after calling again another 20 minutes later and being told the same thing, we went down to reception. At 10:45pm, the man at reception told us we would have to speak to the people doing the laundry ourselves and sort it with them. The receptionist, Christopher, didn’t seem to understand that we have no dealings with the laundry company as our receipt is with the hotel. The laundry company arrives and tells reception that we lied about our socks as apparently they were yellow (not white) when we gave them over. The receptionist Christopher, then tells us that we lied and that there is nothing they can do as the fee was ‘already processed’. In the end, the manager was called. He arrived drunk as he was out on a family gathering. At this point it was midnight, we had been trying to settle this since 10pm and nobody has apologised to us at all. We got no money back and instead got offered a free breakfast. We were leaving at 5:30am the next morning which meant we had to take this breakfast with us to the train stations. Overall incompetent staff and a lack of people skills all round. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
