I just want to congratulate the staff at this hotel. Not only were the facilities top notch the reception staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. I cannot remember the guys name however I would personally like to comment him for a truly 6* experience

Spain is a gorgeous country. The people warm and friendly, the sights entrancing, the food unsurpassed. We have been to Spain twice, once in October 2016 pre-pandemic and once in October 2022. During both trips we had the absolute pleasure of staying at La Zoreda. Each time we had an exceptionally warm welcome from the front desk. Massimo and Stephanie made us feel like returning friends. They were warm and engaging speaking perfect English to our hesitant Spanish. The rooms are first class. They are spacious, beautifully appointed and impart a feeling of tranquility the moment you enter. At night the windows open to a breathless silence with just a hint of breeze ruffling the silk curtains making the beautiful embroidered butterflies dance and lulling you into dreamland. The breakfast is excellent, with gorgeous food shared in a wonderful room overlooking the back garden. I particularly like the warm milk they bring for your café con leche. But I save the very best for last. The dining room is outstanding and favorably compares to the best we have enjoyed across several continents. The first night we dined there we ordered off the extensive menu and had a memorable meal. For our second night, we booked the chef's choice special menu and were not disappointed. Not only did he design the menu, but it was printed out with each of the seven courses. It was heaven! The octopus was exquisite, a true taste sensation; the cream of garlic soup smooth, flavorful, each mouthful sensational; the pork perfectly roasted with the outside crackling with flavour. The dessert an eruption of exquisitely blended sensations of fruit and chocolate. Javier was the consummate host leading us through each course matching cocktails and wine with each course. Stephanie to our surprise and delight, provided a glass of champagne to kick off the entire evening. Although the setting is exquisite, it is the staff, the chef, Massimo, Stephanie and Javier who truly make this an unforgettable experience. If you are planning on a trip to Spain, La Zoreda is a destination that must not be missed. We were looking for golf courses and comfort- instead we found a home away from home and a lifetime of memories. We will make a point of returning.

From the outside, it looks quite like a five star hotel but apart from that, definitely not up to that standard: inefficient and lenthy check-in, no help with car/luggage, no gym, no sauna, pool closed, no breakfast buffet (very limited offering for breakfast, one cup of coffee and half a glass of orange juice must be enough...). The room (bed, shower etc.) was quite OK, but you would also expect a little more there (e.g. information about the hotel in the room/via TV, tee/coffee maker, water etc.).

The hotel as a whole is a beautiful place in a wonderful location. The first impression was great. Friendly and welcoming check-in. However, once details come up and they are not resolved, it becomes annoying. Rooms lack basic amenities like tissues, cotton buds, cotton pads, nail file (amenities that are standard in a 5 star hotel). The same room types, which cost exactly the same per night, differ in the amenities that are available in some and not in others. We have 3 rooms of the same category. For example, there is full body mirror in room 203. But a mirror in room 202. (Same room type.) There is a long full-length mirror in 203 and 103 and there is none in 202. There is also a coffee maker in 202 but not in the other 2 rooms.. these are small insignificant details. The biggest problem is not the lack of amenities but the lack of attention because there is not enough staff. It's really a "one man show".... In the F&B areas. At the reception... no one answers the phone when you need reception and the coffee at breakfast only comes after breakfast has already been served... feel sorry for the poor staff, they are overworked. However when you need something done in the room... you can call and call, they might apologise but no other solution is given other than a room move. Which on a holiday is not very practical. The bathroom blinds in room 202 are damaged, no one even tries to fix it. In room 203 the windows do not open (faulty) maintenance does not check the condition... only solution is a room move... it would be nice for at least a gesture of finding a solution... I hope the people in charge read this because the place is beautiful, it has a lot of potential and it would be nice if other future guests could enjoy it and not be annoyed by small details that add up and become a burden during the stay.

First, the building itself is wonderful. Unfortunately the room we had at the begining was smelling cigarette due to an unrespectful client but the reception lady gave us immediately another room (a higher level one). The bar is really quiet and cosy with a nice choice of drinks and the restaurant is really great. The bedroom and bed were very comfortable and quiet. the breakfast is of an incredible quality and with a lot of choice. Finally, all the team members of reception, bar, restaurant and breakfast were attentive, kind and smiling. It is one of the best Hotel I have seen. I highly recommend it.

Un lugar para volver. Empezando por la atención de absolutamente todo el persona . Victor , Adrian , Isabel , todos a cual más amoroso, educado y haciéndonos sentir en casa . Las instalaciones súper cómodas , el desayuno riquísimo . Llegar al lugar es como de cuento . Muy recomendable.
