If you want a definition of luxury in the middle of the mountains, this is the place! Always take a room with a balcony - rooms are not large, so mountains are entering to your place through balcony. This hotel reminds me Omni Shoreham in Washington DC and Omni in Hampstead, but is much better kept, freshly renovated. . It is totally refreshed. The best service in the world - special thanks to Ms Magdalena! Hotel is big but not too big. Best spa possible, with a large swimming pool, translucent jacuzzi and another jacuzzi outdoor. Beautiful terrace. Beautiful restaurant. Rooms decorated in a mountain style. Champagne for breakfast Food quite good, except hamburger. Hotel is a bit out of the city but... the private driver drives you in no time wherever you want and takes you back from any place you wish. You can also rent a ferrari. We did not this time, but next time... just to try! It was a pleasure to sit there for afternoon tea, listening to the piano and sip acerol sprite. It was a pleasure to wake up with mountains entering my room, and to look for magnificent sunset siting on my own balcony. every moment was a pleasure.

Simply the best, this hotel is one of the best that I have ever stayed at. The location, up on a hill from the centre of town, affords the guests fantastic views over the hills. The hotel is spotlessly clean, rooms spacious and well decorated and bed so comfortable. The breakfast is excellent, loads of choice and delicious. Hotel staff very professional and a credit to the establishment. No complaints and would highly recommend others to stay here.

This hotel is a dream! It is in the top 3 hotels we have ever stayed in ever. It is just so incredibly beautiful. Very refined, elegant and beautiful hotel. We know quite a bit about hotels as I was a Travel Consultant for a decade for the likes of AAA, Uniglobe, etc. and my husband’s family runs a nice hotel…so we have seen a few to say the least ;-). I cannot remember if I did a review or not on this hotel, but it has always stayed with me, so I did another just in case, as the world took a nosedive when we got back from this trip, so not sure I ever complimented them on what a fabulous job they did with our large group. We saw this hotel and stayed there with a large group in late January 2020 - it was fantastic then and I am sure it still is! Sadly, we had to leave this gorgeous hotel after 5 nights, but we hope to return soon. From the lobby, to the bar, to the restaurants, to the spa/pool and the exquisite rooms - this hotel is a destination on it’s own, much less the incredible city of Cortina, Italy. It is worth every penny/euro to stay in this dream of a hotel. Even though it feels a bit old world, they have kept it up to high standards/quality and their choice of fabrics, decor, etc. was near perfect. We were a big, fun, lively group of Americans (yes, some of us can be loud, sorry about that on behalf of them ;-) but they handled us beautifully and accommodated our needs well and treated us great, so thank you. We highly, highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent stay with very kind staff. Would highly recommend (knowing there is an upcoming renovation beginning Spring 2023). My wife and I particularly enjoyed the pianist, Paulo Carcano, who played beautiful music each night (and even learned one of our favorite songs!). Can’t wait to return in the future.

This hotel delivered a perfect stay - rooms, service, food - the works. We had a lovely suite on their top floor. The rooms have a beautiful Tyrolean feel (which is what you want) and of course great views (with the hotel being on a hill overlooking Cortina on one side and Faloria on the other. All the dining options delivered in terms of service and food. The concierge was always on top of things (I wish I had written this review sooner and could list all names) and the shuttle service into town and the slopes was seamless. Spa area is lovely with a large indoor pool, hotub and lovely sauna area. The whole stay left us with lovely memories.

Why dear cristallo if you hope to have a blow out party on the closing night , don t you simply shut the hotel down the night before ? 1. You close the bar and common areas down , where are your paying customers suppose to entertain themselves ? 2. The whole staff is looking after the party members , how do your paying guests get any service ? 3. The music is blazing well into the night , how are your paying guests suppose to get any sleep ? I thought this was one of the classiest hotels In the Italian alps, badly let down. pls don’t pay 800 euros when you can’t even sleep , worse than a motel on the Las Vegas strip . No sense of etiquette , propriety , or class! If you choose to have a party , do it on your own time not on Your customers’ dime ! Shocking, absurd and downright vulgar behaviour form this establishment !
