My girlfriend and I arrived at the property around 9 in the evening with just enough time to take a bath and go to bed because the next day we had booked a tour early in the morning to Machu Picchu ( we had to get up at 3am ). As we got to our room the staff told us to let some water run until it started to get warm, we waited 10.. 15 minutes.. we called to the front desk and they told us to keep waiting. Almost an hour passed since we had arrived and we still were out of hot water. We called again to the front desk, and they told us that we were going to move to another room that had warm water (two stories bellow and we had to search for the room ourselves ‘cause no one waited for us or told us where to go). We had already unpacked so we had to put on clothes and pack again In order to change to the other room just to find out that it was also out of hot water!! We had to wait almost an hour more until the staff at the property called a technician to figure out what was wrong and try to fix it. We were exhausted because we traveled and drove all day long and we’re stressed because we had few hours to sleep so you can imagine what a good time we were having. In the end we were able to take a quick shower with not-so-warm water, my girl has a gorgeous long hair and the fact that they were out of hair conditioner was the last straw and we lost it. We had about 3 hours of sleep out of the 7 hours planned, no hot water, no hair conditioner, we were out of our minds angry, exhausted and stressed and finally we were charged the full fair and got nothing from the staff for the awful experience. They had a big bed, nice location, but I’ll never book there again not even if they pay me.
