Avis : Zhonglian Hotel

The best-located hotel in order to see North Korea and visit the Broken Bridge, just make sure to get a river room. Binoculars are provided in the room to see into North Korea, which is a great touch. The service was decent, but I'm not sure if it's because the didn't speak English, but the reception just gave me the room key and didn't give me any directions or assistance on how to get to the room until I had to ask. The bed is comfortable, but the room, except the bathroom, seems quite old and in need of an upgrade.

The Hotel has the perfect location to experience the exceptional position opposite the North Korean border. Nicely decorated rooms and decent buffet.

Zhonglian Hotel is in the great Location. We had booked the full river view. It was excellent view the Yalu Bridge just in front of our window. Hotel is clean staff is friendly. Although it is a older Hotel bu it have maintained in good standard. We do enjoy our stay.

Great location at reasonable price. Free entrance to the broken bridge. Nice river/north korea view from rooms. Easy taxi riding.

The view from the room is nice, but the air conditioning is not working, and it’s quite hot.

The hotel location is opposite the broken bridge. Within the vicinity, there are many shops along the river. The room is quite similar to a 4 or 5 star hotel. It is very clean, and comfortable to stay. Amenities are fully provided. The hotel lobby looks grand, but the toilet near the restaurant area stinks and not properly cleaned.

The hotel had a nice view that facing the river side.

First house, directly on the bridge to North-Korea. Best place in town

Place is good, especially when you can see North Korea from room. But for some reason, the air heater seems to be on overdrive. It only gets hotter even if temperature was set to be lower.

Near to the Broken Bridge 鸭绿江断桥。Good breakfast and location.

The hotel was really clean and the staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast served was good. There were only 2 small issues. People smoking in the hotel, even with signs saying no smoking. Staff didn't stop people from smoking. And secondly during the night there's a strange humming noise in the bedroom.Otherwise a really good stay and I would definitely recommend others to book their stay there.

This hotel couldn't be in a better location if you want to visit the 'broken bridge' and stay just opposite North Korea! The service is very good here and the staff are friendly. The room was comfortable and the breakfast has just about everything you could wish for from Chinese and western! Overall, highly recommended.

Best location to see North Korea. Room was large and comfortable. Not far from train station.

Location is great as it is only a step away to the famous bridge to see part of north korea. The weather was humid and hot during our stay but the ac in the rooms werent cold enough so none of us slept well. The staff service weren’t really great when we asked to cool it down. Very disappointed as they probably could treat us foreigners better when it comes to service
