Nice location and clean room

房間雖然不大，但配置齊全，一個獨立的卧室，還有一個帶單人床的小卧室（一對上下鋪的單人床，相當於可以同時容納4個孩子，對於子女家庭那是相當友好），不過還是很很後悔沒有選擇靠湖的公寓，湖邊感覺更開闊，也更少幹擾，我們是大概5點到的，拿到鑰匙後，想去前台問個問題，發現關門了，會想起辦理入住時對方準確叫出我的名字，孩子説原來我們就是最後一個，給完鑰匙對方就下班了，我們週四入住，但入住率也挺高，旁邊兩口子感覺60多歲，還拖了快艇過來，我們到的當天也看到一堆年輕人在那裡玩水上項目，我們此前都選擇的入住標準就是酒店，這次旅途中選擇了度假公寓，也是非常不錯的體驗，我們自己做了早餐和晚餐，去黃金海岸或者返回悉尼的途中的不錯停留處

Even though the park is still under development and 12 kms to the north of Forster, neither of these two things are a disadvantage. The park is managed very effectively. Service staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Everything is clean and tidy. Our amenities were older but scrupulously clean and I loved the two space showers - one for washing, one for dressing. Located right on the banks of the Wallamba River, sundowners on the sandy beach or the grassy slope while the fish jump and the river changes tone, is a must. A good sized swimming pool, with river boating access and floating items for hire. An excellent camp kitchen and tidy grounds makes this a perfect spot already, let alone when all the development is finished. Bonus upon bonus, is an excellent cafe with good variety in the menu and the best coffee on this part of the NSW coast.

The cabin itself was great. We were situated in a great spot. The view from our verandah was of the river, the skate park, and the playground. It's great that the kids had so much to do here. The water park was awesome. I, the big kid, got in there with the 8yo and 12yo and had a ball. Tossed and turned first night - not to self and others - sleep at opposite end to ladder. 2 rooms in cabin - 1 had a queen bed, the other had bunks (double on bottom, single on top). Mattress for the bottom was a bit uncomfortable, and I could feel springs. I think their mattress protectors need updating. Staff were so accommodating and friendly. There are plenty of bins and amenities. We did have kids up and about til all hours of the night, both nights we were there. They were all a bit suss. First night, we had one group of kids who thought one of them wanted to bang on our cabin windows, then run - we had a baby asleep, and we were just headed to bed, too. So that shot my anxiety through the roof, I was so worried about everything that night. It was a pleasant stay, none the less.

This caravan park is designed for permanents and regular visitors as it doesn't have a lot of tourist sites. The amenities are minimal in area where tourist can stay. They are currently installing heaps of cabins, but no more tourist sites.

The management of this park could not give a care about other people or there children . This wy the management hired out the camp kitchen to a dog group from Saturday till Sunday so thay could have dogs in the kitchen and we the campers where tolled to get out as thay have hired it so no one else could use it I made a complaint to management and thay agreed its wrong and should not be allowed to have dogs in the kitchen that rule apply s to every other camper we where also tolled that David and his wife don't care as thay say the camp kitchen it not there for our convenience and we only pay for a site and he can shut and hire it out when ever he likes what an attitude iam also talking with the owners of the discovery parks and thay feel it is unacceptable behaviour from management the camp kitchen is ther for all campers to use and thay have no right to ban others because of there don't care attitude very disappointed and will not return will the management is still there even the water park for children he shuts that on Sundays so he can bring back his soccer team and have a barbecue and drinks in there but no one else can do the same again selfish and inconsiderate to the people paying to go there head office in south Australia will be looking at the comments I have made and will won't a response from the inconsiderate management of foster discovery park

Excellent park with good facilities and very quiet. Set on river with excellent kitchen, walk tracks and good size sights. Currently in process of upgrading park so bit of work being completed during the day. Staff are outstanding and nothing but accomodating. Pool and water park, climbing frames and park for kids. Lots of beautiful beaches within half hour drive. Definitely recommend

There were some good and bad things here. We went knowing the pool was under renovation but we didn’t expect the complete building site the park was. Unfortunately the heavy rainfall in the area also caused a big problem around the park turning many camping sites and the off leash dog park into mud pits. While the park tried to offset this with free equipment hire, there just wasn’t enough to keep the kids entertained. We rented a cabin which was very clean but needed an upgrade for the TV and DVD player (especially since there was not much else for the kids). The river location was lovely and it was easy to use our own kayaks or hire from the office. Staff were really friendly and I recognise that many of the issues were not their fault. I think once the renovations are finished the park will be very nice but probably best to wait until finished.

Arrived hoping for a fun filled family weekend. The photos that I saw online was definitely not what was there as we were met with a construction site. I booked this park specifically for the playground/pool as I have 3 young children. The games room was shameful. The on site cafe was also closed for renovations which I was not aware of. If I had known all these things I would have booked somewhere else.
