Had a great comfortable stay here in Darwin. The service is excellent and the bed was comfortable. The pool area is relaxing after a hot day in Darwin. You can’t beat the price with this friendly service. Thank you Alatai we will be coming back next time. :)

Average, budget friendly accomodation. Our apartment was spacious and reasonably clean. Beds and pillows were comfy!! A/C in good working condition. Unfortunately I don’t think i’d stay here again, it’s very outdated and needs some work. Extra towels (pool towels), bin bags and toilet rolls would have been nice as my family of 3 stayed here for 3 nights. On request, staff were able to supply these items immediately. Staff were friendly and happy to inform you on things to do and places to go in the local area. The pool is great, well sized with good seating area surrounding. Our room was conveniently on the ground floor right next to the pool entrance, my daughter loved it!

It was an okay stay, bed was decent, had 4 pillows. Kitchen had basic necessities. Downside was how grotty the bathroom was, puss blood and toothpaste all over mirror, toilet had skid marks and wasn’t cleaned, shower had hair and mould. The place is good enough for a roof over your head.

Had 2 stays there for 4 and 3 nights respectively. Located on the NW edge of centre with easy access to centre in 5 minutes by e-scooter (great!). Near the Mindil beach and Charles Brown Botanic Gardens. Clean, spacious apartments with kitchenette including washer/dryer. Quiet. Very friendly good service. Pool and BBQ below much appreciated. Very good value too. Highly recommended!

We had a fully equipped apartment for 3. It was clean and friendly. We felt very welcome by all staff and loved the pool and cafe. Easy to get bus, cab or walk into town to do sightseeing. Close to Cullen Bay and Mindl Beach..... Can use No. 4 or 10 bus easily.

We had a delightful week in our modest room. It was clean, light, airy and quite spacious enough for our needs. We were on the ground floor so we had close and easy access to the beautiful pool. All of the staff we had contact with were friendly and helpful (especially Su in reception) and there were lots of surprising inclusions in the room. Most welcome of was a sturdy clothes dryer!! Alatai is in easy walking distance of the CBD (Maybe 30 minutes). It is also an easy, shady walk to the beautiful Botanical Gardens and Mindil Beach (maybe 20 minutes.) Highly recommended!!

Funny thing happened during our stay. No security-safe in the room. An iPad went missing from the room during the day. Management confirmed that only the cleaner had been in the room. Room was searched by us and management. Bed was pulled out from wall in search process. Laundromat services was rung to see if it had got caught up in bed linen but no iPad. 3 days later we worked out how to trigger "Find My IPad" app. App showed it was at Alatia. 5 minutes after the alarm on the iPad was triggered and before we got back to Alatia they rang to say the iPad was located stuck between the bedside cupboard and the bed we moved out. Funny thing that.
