I would only stay here if you are looking for an affordable hotel at $100. Quite frankly- it’s gross. The shower had blood and hair in it. There was no hot coffee at breakfast, and the buffet was not very appealing- you can grab a yogurt or bagel though. No changing table or area for little ones in the restrooms. The pool door was propped open and it was an open pit. So incredibly dangerous. Wear and tear throughout- I wish we had kept driving.

Room was spacious. Typical hotel decor. It was quiet and they offered breakfast, 2 things we look for when traveling. I found the couch uncomfortable but was only here for a few hours then overnight so that did not really impact my stay

Upon arrival, the front desk clerk was crouched outside the entry door smoking. There were cigarette butts all over the ground by the trashcan. We walked thru a cloud of smoke to get in. We were informed on check in that the pool was closed. The laundry room was a mess with 1 of 2 washers working as well as 1 of 2 dryers working. Our room smelled like it was smoked in before. There was no trash can in bathroom. And, the entry road has large cracks and potholes making arrival to the parking lot a bit rough to say the least. It looks like it's being remodeled so maybe it will get better but this is the worst Marriott we've stayed in.

For this being a Marriott property, I was very surprised by how outdated and just swept clean this property was. After a 14hr road trip I expected a nice relaxing environment and a comfortable bed. Instead it was as if I walked into 1990. The bed was hard, the HVAC in the room did not work leaving it stuffy and hot with no air flow in the room. While the room appeared clean, the carpets and old upholstered furniture were stained and very dirty. The shower head was broke and spewed water above onto the wallpaper. For breakfast, it was bare minimum—certainly not what was pictured on the website. Checkin staff was nice but seemed to disappear for the rest of the stay. Normally I prefer a Residence Inn , however with this experience I may rethink my future bookings.

We had.a reservation for Saturday night. We received an email 6hrs before checkin that our room was cancelled due to overbooking and sorry to the inconvenience. We were already on the road to a gymnastics tournament in Davenport. When we called the hotel, they told us that there was nothing they could do to help us. Not only was the staff unapologetic, but they didn't seem to even care that we were left stranded in a strange town. I was told that they were under new management and had no intentions of trying to secure us another room due to their mistake. WOW...

Filthy dirty…. I don’t care if it’s outdated, there’s no excuse for rooms not being clean. Interior windows, carpet, bathroom shower were terrible. No one should have to go into a room and have to clean it yourself

We chose this hotel based on the fact that it is a Marriott and had a decent rate ($104 and NO PET FEE!). Upon checking in we were told that their base rate is $136 AND wanted to charge us $35 for our dog. We refused to pay the pet fee but accepted the base rate. The room is rundown, the TV did not have network channels like ABC, NBC, etc. I asked at the desk and was told “we are under new management, and switching providers. These things take time”. We would not stay here again. Oh! Breakfast featured pork and chicken sausage, but no eggs. Wow.

Stayed 2 nights on points as I am a Bonvoy member. I'm not snobby but this hotel was waaaay below what you would expect from Marriott. Keycard system was not working and staff, when you could find someone, had to escort us to room. That went on for almost a day. Staff was poorly dressed.....wearing tank tops with advertising and cartoon characters. Not what you should see anywhere. Hallways and elevator were filthy. For breakfast there were oatmeal toppings set out but never any oatmeal. Breakfast sandwiches were frozen in the middle. Wierd. Will never stay there again.
