Rodeway Inn Decatur

me and my wife came here in the beginning of October and its been amazing ever since and I just found out that its a two star hotel but this is a five star review and bobby and his employees are always friendly and give us a warm morning greeting when we leave for work and are always very respectful and inform of of any changes and help remind us when our pay is due we absolutely love this place and would like to settle your worries of a bad unorganized and dirty place. here at the Rodeway inn in Decatur bobby and his crew has convinced me that they are well under rated for what's here and they have more then earned a five star rating from me

I stayed there for roughly 2 years. In this time I was located in a single room, two bedroom alone. The one bed room was cheeper then the two bedroom, however when asked repeatedly to move over. I was instead told it was more expensive and I can’t move over. It got a little disappointing however I just dealed with it. Two weeks before I finally departed and got another place to stay, the washer broke down and they started overcharging us on laundry. Instead of the usual $4 to do it, it’s now $10. I understood their perspective, however it was still broken on my departure. The last thing, is upon leaving. He claimed I owed him $800 for his hospitality, then he’ll let me come back if I ever needed it. I refused and was leaving when Bobby called the cops saying I owed him money, I asked for my Italicized Bill and showed the cops. This was a scam, and I did not like it. I refuse to come back here, the last and only problem with this spot is the overcharging, and the fact that I was told my mail arrived as of yesterday, in that location. However their saying it didn’t, it was my check. I don’t know why but I believe their holding it and or they threw it away. (Bugs are aweful, the gnats usually come in even when it’s clean and it gets annoying trying to sleep get away them away.) I seldom request those to not go here. It’s bad services.

Reserved the queen room and it’s a double twin room with one bed removed and a small desk in its place. Lol The front desk clerk seemed really nice and if I had the energy to complain I’m sure he would fix it. Or move me to a different room. Also the bed wobbles I’m pretty sure one of the legs are broken. As far as cleanliness it’s fairly clean room just need to replace the towels. One towel had dirt stains on it. Hopefully it’s just dirt stains. The parking is spacious for my big dually and I did see a couple truck with small trailers able to fit in the lot. Not sure if they provide breakfast but the clerk didn’t mention anything so I’m guessing they don’t. Might be better off spending an extra 20-40 dollars for a better room in my opinion.
