Romantik Hotel Hirschen

My wife and I stayed here again in March as aprt of a road trip to Germany. It is a hotel that we have stayed at many times and one that we love as we know we will be comfortable here and well looked after. In the past we have just stayed the single night before moving on to the mountains of Bavaria. However this time we both decided to stay longer and explore the litte town of Parsberg and its castle and it was a good decision. We have reviewed this many times before but when something is as good as thos hotel it is worth, we think, of repeating. The suites are just superb. Quiet and comfortable with great beds and a fabulous power shower. Being a pair of Oldies now we are fortunate to be able to stay in 5 star hotels. We stayed in 2 on this recent roadtrip and we have to say that the bed at the Hirschen was the best of all ! Added to that the great choice at breakfast in the mornings with a choice of egg dishes cooked to order and wonderful breads, jams,fruit,cold meats etc. If you leave here hungry in the morning, you havent tried had enough ! And then dinners in the evening in the restaurant which is just a short stroll over from the hotel. We dined on two evenings and the food was sublime. I had a wonderful local dry aged steak on both evenings and my wife had a fish dish. All beautifully presented and served with grace and charm. And just to repeat myslef again....I'm an old guy now and I am allowed to ! The Hirschen is privately owned and run by the family and it shows in everything they do here. All is done with love and care because they are clearly proud of what they offer. Thankyou Hotel Hirschen and we will return in October.

The hotel lols gorgeous , great architecture, integrated with the rural surroundings, nice parking lot , super well decorated rooms and gigantic bathrooms. The ideal place to relax and chill for those who need it : excellent massages , brillante sauna options, sea salt cabin and a great indoor pool. Super nice staff who cares and takes care of things . I liked the tea and coffee bar as well as the snacks served . The restaurant that belongs to the hotel is amazing: great atmosphere and wonderful food … very wide range of choice for breakfast and great menu . Absolutely wonderful and worth every cent

Yet another wonderful couple of days spent as guests of the Hotel Hirschen. My wife and I love this hotel and stay every year on our way to Bavaria driving from the U.K. It is a perfect stop-over for us. The " posh " rooms are superb. Comfortable, quiet with great beds and a superb power shower. And then , each evening, a quick stroll over the road to the hotel restaurant that serves delicious dinners. Clever, innovative cooking. All beatifully served and on this occassion, I tried my very first " Bavarian Single Malt Whisky " ! As I think I have said before on previous reviews, the Hotel Hirschen is family owned and run and it clearly shows with how they value their guests. Oh and as a final plus , I am a car nut and need somwhere to park which is safe and secure for my beloved boy and the hotel has a large car park. Highly recommended !

We stayed in a Junior Garden Suite which included entry to their spa facilities. Unfortunately, we did not take advantage of this benefit, but the area looked amazing! Hotel offered a variety of spa treatments which I will have to work time into my next trip. Room was very comfortable and quiet. The only thing that did not not work the best for us, was not having a completely separate room for the bathroom. The area was separated by a bank of cabinets and there was a separate water closet. If someone wanted to get ready for the day and the other wanted to sleep in longer it could be challenging. This is not a criticism of the hotel, only information for potential guests. The staff was very welcoming and we enjoyed our delicious breakfast each morning at the restaurant which was located in the building across the road. Excellent cappuccino. Our room was in the building with the spa facilities. Our room felt like we were on a luxury vacation! Would highly recommend this hotel.

Nice Hotel in the center of Parsberg, the rooms in the historic building are really old fashion and would deserve a renovation. Anyway the accommodation in this Hotel is quite good. Restaurant rooms are typical bavarian style. Quite refreshing, especially for foreigners

We used the Hirschen for 2 seperate nights this month on our way from Hamelyn to Berchtesgaden and on the journey back. This is the fourth time we have used this hotel and we found it as lovely and comfortable as ever. It is located in the centre of Parsberg, a quiet and attractive town. Easy to locate from the Autobahn, the hotel has a large car park and a beautiful and seperate restaurant which is a 2 minute walk just across the hight street. We always dine here in the evening and the menu is a fine one and the service excellent. Also the morning breakfast is served here and your own table is reserved in the morning with a charming name plate. Breakfast is superb with a wonderful choice of breads, jams, cheeses,cold meats and eggs and bacon if you order. Finally, the " posh " rooms in the top floors of the hotel are beautifully appointed. Very quiet, great beds and a superb power shower. We believ the Hirschen is family owned and run and it shows clearly in the friendy service offered. We will always stay here on our way to Bavaria.

My wife and I spent 2 nights at the Hotel Hirschen, the first night driving from Lower Saxony on our way to Bavaria and the second on the way back again to the U.K. We intended and originally thought that this would be just a nice stopover hotel. However, the Hotel Hirschen is much more than that and we wish we could have stayed longer. We reserved a garden suite on both nights and it was comfortable and quiet and we slept well. Also and very importantly for me.....as I'm a petrol head....and love my car.....the hotel has plenty of safe,secure car parking. And finally the food. Breakfasts were plentiful and good with lots of choices. And we dined on both nights in the restaurant and on each evening we enjoyed a lovely dinner. So, thankyou Hotel Hirschen for looking after us so well and we plan to take our next drivng tour of Deutschland in October and we will stay with you again.

Very cute and well appointed hotel in the center of Parsberg. Beds are very comfortable. Has the feeling of a ski lodge. The hotel is connected with the fabulous restaurants across the street. Next time i am in town I will definitely stay again.

Ein grosses Lob an die Freundlichkeit aller Mitarbeiter/innen...dass hat den Kurzurlaub perfekt gemacht. Wir haben im Gästehaus übernachtet, da wir hauptsächlich den tollen Wellnessbereich nutzen wollten. Aussenpool bei 10 C war eine Herausforderung Mittagessen war super - gesund und vegetarisch- für uns genau das richtige. Wir kommen im Juni wieder....
