Donington Park Farmhouse Hotel

First things first, we want to thank all members of staff for looking after us and supporting us for our wedding day. The venue ticked every box for us, gorgeous buildings, catering included and of course the hotel itself. We had a a fantastic wedding day and the staff were so helpful leading up to and on the day. They took extra care of our more elderly guests as well which was very much appreciated. All of our guests were blown away by the venue itself as well as the service provided. The hotel rooms were beautiful as well, could of done with some working aircon mind as it was a scorching hit day and night. The breakfast was very good as well. Thank you all again!

On behalf of my Wife and I, we would like to say a few words about this most amazing Wedding Venue. From the very first meeting to the breakfast at the very end of our amazing wedding, nothing was to much trouble and as any individuals arranging their big day - you worry, you fuss, you over think - no need what so ever. The wedding organisers have this, please believe me. At times things happen without you even blinking. I cant thank the staff enough for making our big day just perfect and I mean perfect in every way. Every single guest just loved the venue, and we were all made to feel so very special. Specail thanks to - every single member of staff at the venue, Slyvia @ Rustic Corner - book her she is just the best, Emily & Katy - superb photos, Christine Palethorpe on the Harp - sublime - Jackstar Disco - rocking & Marie @ Fruits of the florist - best flowers ever, fact ! It will always have a very specail place in our hearts as it was just the best day ever. If you are loooking for the most amazing place to get married - look no further. We were on the camp site, it's in a very convenient place next to donnington park, pretty much zero staff on sight about any info where stuff is, was not impressed that we had to pay for showers which only last for 5 minutes. Toilets weren't in the nicest of condition, alarm going off all the time. Pub right next to camp site where stuff was going on till midnight so struggled sleeping

We had our wedding here in December 2021, after having to move our original wedding date twice due to COVID. I couldn't fault this venue at all, they were extremely accommodating, understanding and incredibly fair in rescheduling. Many venues saw rescheduling as a way to make an extra profit, but this venue just let us pick a new date. No fees, no fuss, just an amazing example of excellent customer service. The day ran very smoothly, even allowing us to add an extra guest to the meal when everyone was sitting down (they hadn't expected to be able to stay due to childcare). Everything felt safe, clean and staff were fantastic. We even got the cheese cake of dreams, all arranged and styled by the venue which was eaten in the evening and we had 2 massive boxes left over to take home! The only downside is the rooms really, nothing "extra" in the bridal room and they aren't luxury with no special touches, but the venue itself makes up for it. I would recommend this venue 1000%.

Last minute stop over. Great service, fabulous nights sleep, the beds are so comfy. Great room with lovely views. Nice big bathroom, all amenities that you need. Set in beautiful surroundings Parking on site.

The most incredible wedding venue, the staff and place itself are both wonderful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. They are so professional and can handle bigger weddings, maintaining a relaxed vibe for everyone. There is so much room both inside and outside and it is all enclosed so suitable to children too!

Stayed for one night and was very pleased. Stayed in room 5 which had plenty of space and stunning views. Only downside was in the bathroom where the light fitting was full of flies. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was nice not a lot of choice but what was on offer was tasty and hot. All the staff seemed pleasant. This hotel is on a flight path so be prepared to hear planes flying over.

Stayed two nights for daughter's wedding. A very good choice of venue for a complete wedding celebration , everything on hand and very pleasant , courteous ,efficient and hard working staff. Rooms were well appointed and clean. Good choice of breakfast menu and quality ingredients for the delicious full English breakfast. The staff were on hand to help on the wedding day with the scheduled arrangements to ensure everything ran as smoothly as possible. Even carrying umbrellas to protect the bridal party from the rain , en route ! The catering , afternoon high tea and evening barbecue was excellent with plenty of choice and quantity. The evening was completed with a good disco and being a fine warm evening the court yard tables were very popular. Thanks to management and staff for a great (and faultless ) wedding experience.

I attended a wedding recently, the day was beautiful and everything you wanted it to be, the bar staff and waiters were brilliant, The hotel was terrible, stained damp room, wasps, spiders everywhere very unkept. Seems to be in need of a revamp in certain rooms, just a filthy looking cold feeling when you walked in. Breakfast was shocking. We were told to sit down and wait for table service, after 20 minutes we had to asked to order, they did a drinks order. We then had to ask another time to actually order. We had to ask for things to be refilled and we definitely weren’t the last down to breakfast. Others came in after us which were finishing their breakfasts, The food we ordered didn’t come, we had something else but by this time we gave up and ate it. Booking the room was appauling. Rang up and gave my details somebody was ringing me back that day. Rang two weeks later as they hadn’t, again gave details they explained they were busy (understandable) and I’d get a call back Monday/Tuesday again didn’t happen. I then rang and had to be loud to be heard to make sure I had a room reserved and paid for (requested by the hotel instructed by bride and groom). I’ve emailed my concerns which a manager will get back to me in a few days. A whole week past and I got an email back that I basically felt was a ‘ok thanks bye’. Just a disappointing ending, to a very beautiful day.
