We stayed here for two nights while visiting Bavaria Germany. I prefer Dinkelsbuehl to Rothenburg aub de Tauber as it is less of a "tourist attraction". The hotel is right in the middle of town and a perfect location. There is a restaurant that is very good and the breakfast was wonderful. We walked around the town and were able to explore everything from this location. Many shops and restaurants to explore. The room was very nice, but I would add a few cautions. There was no elevator (not a problem for us) and no air conditioning. This was not really a problem for us since the weather was nice. However, you should consider this depending on temperature. Overall, we had a great visit and would recommend if those few things are not an issue for you. This is probably common as the buildings were very historic. The town is wonderful and not super crowded like Rothenburg.

This is one of the most charming small boutique hotels we have stayed in Germany. We have been to Rotenburg ob her Tauber twice( This is beautiful village has become very overcrowded I have heard) Beds were so comfortable, dinner was delicious in the restaurant! Wish we had stayed a day or two more, but we were on a whirlwind trip of Europe! would live to go back!! Afterwards found a cozy local bar for a nice old fashioned (hard to find in Europe, somehow!!! I will do separate review!)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel. We were in Germany and Austria for three weeks and I must stay that the food at the restaurant was the best we had on our trip. Be sure to make reservations for dinner or you not get in, it was booked every night, even weekdays. The food was really gourmet. The staff was great and very accommodating. This town is a wonderful alternative to the more crowded and touristy Rothenburg which is just up the road and a nice drive along the "Romantic Road".

Really loved the hotel. The history and welcoming staff plus an amazing restaurant. The breakfasts were one of the best. Room was modernised and had a great nights sleep. Make a point to spend at least a couple of hours exploring Dinkelsbühl, one of Germany’s most beautiful historic towns. We walked the walls external and internal

We had a wonderful stay. The staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to help us with our questions. The breakfast was delicious but the meal in the restaurant was life changing. The room was amazing, large and cozy. Great location. Incredibly authentic. Totally memorable.

Lovely lunch in the hotel restaurant. Nice old style decor with comfortable benches. Very tasty food and friendly service. The building is very beautiful outside probably one of the lovelier buildings in the town of Dinkelsbühl in Bavaria.

Beautiful historic hotel.The location is just perfect. Easy checkin and they sort out your car parking. Lovely room with all that you need. Dinner in the restaurant was amazing including lots of asparagus in season and delicious wine. Highly recommend staying here and looking around this gorgeous town

It is noteworthy that this hotel has no elevator! We are very happy that we stayed here but I think that element should be prominently noted as there is no help assisting with luggage. We understand that hotels and restaurants are understaffed and we are patient with that fact - it applies worldwide. Our room was very spacious and equipped with minibar. The beds were comfortable and the area is quiet during the night. Church bells ring at 6:00am but that is customary. With Covid, breakfasts must be ordered and time reserved the night before but it all works well. It is a lovely town to walk around in and visit the churches and shops.

Deutsches Haus catered the entire wedding for 135 guests. From the fantastic hors d'oevres at noon, through the four course dinner and the midnight snack: the food was superb and beautifully presented; excellent drinks kept coming; the service was perfect, friendly and faultless. I cannot imagine how it cpuld have been better. Just perfect! Thank you! Kathleen M.
