A 3-star hotel, adjacent parking for a fee of 20 lei per day, the location of the hotel is very good, you can park in the adjacent street for free, the reception staff was very charming and took care of our requests quickly, they also made sure to change our room in the evening because there was a malfunction in the shower in the room, no There was hot water flow at all. The room is comfortable, the furniture and mattresses need renewal. Reasonable and very good breakfast compared to 3 star hotels. There is a seating option on the outside balcony. One thing didn't turn out well, in the evening we came to fill water from the water dispenser in the dining room and got scolded by one of the waiters claiming that it is only for breakfast, all in all a very reasonable place for those who want to spend a day there and move on.

Only for the view of the Danube and how nice the lady at the reception. The rest: the rooms look old, with old furniture, but they are clean. Breakfast is not very diverse, with minimum to choose from. Located in the city center, it is nice to walk around.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the rooms are spacious and adequately appointed. I stayed in a room overlooking the Danube which was beautiful. Breakfast was basic but adequate. The hotel is well situated surrounded by plenty of restaurants. I would stay here again

20 minutes before the 12.00 hour at which the room was supposed to be vacated, I went to the room but I couldn't find my things anymore!!! I later discovered that the blonde receptionist gave instructions for the cleaning staff to enter the room, who took my things, of which I recovered only a part, not what I had on the table - a bag and a bottle! The receptionist motivated by looking into my eyes me, I would have left the key at the reception, saying that I was leaving the hotel! Then I took the key out of my pocket, showing the key to both her and her colleague, explaining that I had no way to leave in an event that was going on in the rented room in the basement, plus I hadn't even paid! I asked to speak to the manager, but - they made it rain, they didn't notify him or give me his phone, leaving me with the damage!

Continental Drobeta Turnu Severin is a 3-star hotel, centrally located, in the middle of the largest and most beautiful park of the city of Drobeta Turnu Severin. The hotel is located in the vicinity of the "Teodor Costescu" Palace of Culture and the Cinetic Fountain, less than 500 m from the County Council and the City Hall. Hints: If you're making a bokking directly from their own site you will have an extra discount for 20%. The rooms of the Continental Hotel offer a panoramic view of the Danube or the Park of Roses. Extra hint: free parking spot in front of the hotel, not inside of the hotel yard. You will have to pay aprox. 5 euro to park inside.

This hotel is located near the center of Drobeta Turnu Severin, a very interesting and historical city on the Danube, near the border between Romania and Serbia. The rooms are nice and comfortable, there is secure parking, a very good restaurant and very friendly staff, I even contacted them by mail for an information and their answer was helpful and very fast

This is a large modern hotel built some decades ago during the Yugoslav era in retro ‘socialist realist’ style in a central position near the mains square of the town and the ruins of the historic fortress, with many of the rooms having fantastic view overlooking the Danube and its islands. However, the hotel is rather worn, and in need of refurbishments, as the furniture is rather dated. There is air conditioning, good beds and a good bathroom, and service is generally adequate as well, so in most rooms guests should have a reasonable stay. Rooms facing the town could be noisy.

We had a wonderful experience with the hotel during a long trip. Very well located. Room was excellent and had all that must be in a 4 stars hotel, including bathrobes and unique slippers. Very clean and comfortable. We ate our dinner in the beautiful restaurant. In the morning we had a very good breakfast. Staff was very attentive. So I recommend this hotel if you are in town. You will love it.
