Albert & Victoria Guest House

Our stay at this beautiful Victorian-style guest house was simply unforgettable. The elegance of the design, combined with the cozy and welcoming atmosphere, made it feel like a true home away from home. Every small detail was thoughtfully considered, from the charming decor to the warm hospitality. The host family was incredibly kind and made us feel so welcome. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and refreshing, and the coffee was truly unforgettable — the perfect way to start each morning. Plus, the location couldn’t be better — just a one-minute walk to the sea, and only about a 10-minute drive to the stunning Beachy Head of Seven Sisters cliffs! A perfect blend of timeless beauty, comfort, and seaside charm — we can’t wait to return.

My family stayed at the guest house for three days and two nights during my children’s term break. We loved the Victorian-style bedrooms, which were very cozy and clean. The owners were extremely friendly and offered us a variety of freshly cooked and delicious breakfast options every morning. Thanks to their advice, we drove to visit the Seven Sisters Country Park, which was less than a 20-minute drive from the guest house. It was a beautiful place, well worth visiting again in the future. We will certainly choose this guest house again and look forward to exploring more interesting places in Eastbourne.

OVERATED REVIEWS - CHECK IN TIMES 4-7..BREAKFAST SLOT ONE HOUR. OWNERS DID NOT HONOUR AGREEMENT OF DROPPING OFF CASES. THERE "PARKING" OFFER WAS A BAD JOKE. THIS IS A 3 STOREY BUILDING AND WE WERE ON THE 3 RD FLOOR. HARD CLIMB, NOT FOR EVERYONE! ROOM WAS SMALL, CLEAN EXCEPT THE TOILET BRUSH WAS DISGUSTING AND THE SMELL OF DRAINS WAS PARTICULARLY UNPLEASANT. BED MATTRESS WAS'NT COMFORTABLE - CHEAP. BREAKFAST WAS ADEQUATE, GOOD NOT "TERRIFIC" AS REPORTED. AT £95 A NIGHT FOR B & B WE FELT WAS NOT VALUE FOR MONEY . EASTBOURNE OFFERS MUCH BETTER, CHEAPER AND USER FRIENDLY TO GUESTS, NOT THE OWNERS CONVENIENCE.

Such a British stay in this nice and clean guest house! We literally loved it. You can choose your breakfast that you are going to have in an intimate space. Rooms are romantic, cosy and in convenient position close to the beach. You will feel like in a Jane Austen movie!

Booked for a two night stay in December to visit friends in Louise - a single room on the first floor. The owner kindly allowed me to check in early as the national train strikes meant I would have been waiting for 45 mins to check in. Beautiful room, canopied single bed, wardrobe & chest of drawers along with a small fridge in the wardrobe & tv. Blackout blind on the window, En-suite bathroom was immaculate with a full length bath & shower running from mixer tap. Breakfast menu give to you at check in and when the rooms are cleaned with a choice of a cooked breakfast or porridge & cereal. Would highly recommend a stay - very quiet guest house close to the beach, owners are very accommodating & non-intrusive.

Charming little B & B near the seafront in Eastbourne. A special shoutout for the delicious breakfasts freshly cooked (unlike the leathery eggs kept warm in some larger hotels!). A lovely welcome from Candy and her husband and perfect for a weekend stay. Really nice. Thank you!
