We stayed for 3 nights as a family with children under the age of 6 and had the best time. The hotel service is exceptional, every need was met. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the valet who helped us park the car and take our bags. They reserved our space for us with a board for the whole stay. The children received a kids backpack with hat, yo-yo and colouring in. We went straight down to the health club to the indoor pool. When we came out the reception said our room was now ready and collected the keys for us. Our room was a junior suite, it spotless and sizeable with drinks provided on ice and slippers for everyone. In the evening the children could order complimentary milk and cookies which they loved. The outdoor pool was heated and lovely when the sun was out, this was end of may/June. There also was a waiter serving drinks outside. The breakfast was amazing, great selection and the kids loved have every meal served with a cloche and countdown reveal. The added extras on the service make this a wonderful hotel. The positives far outweigh the negatives, I guess it could do with some new carpets and some new upholstery but the charm of the old building supersedes this and although old it was very clean. The bed mattress was ok, quite soft. The sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable but ok for young children. We will be back again!! Thank you

Nous étions dans le cadre de notre voyage de mariage à Eastbourne, à Chatsworth Hotel. La situation était directement sur la mer/ Pier. Cependant, vous étiez en quelques minutes à pied directement au centre-ville. L'hôtel lui-même a du charme, le personnel a été tout à fait amical et utile. Très belles chambres. Surtout la chaise de passage reste à l'esprit. Nous allons revenir immédiatement, recommandation claire

Réservation de dernière minute à un bon tarif par nuit. A notre arrivée, nous avons découvert que nous avions été surclassés et qu'on nous avait donné une chambre agréable donnant sur le kiosque à musique et une vue directe sur la Manche. La pièce était chaleureuse et confortable. en fait, trop confortable quand le soleil était levé. Même si les fenêtres ne s'ouvraient pas, il y avait un ventilateur dans la pièce au cas où il deviendrait trop chaud. L'ascenseur a son propre esprit en annonçant le mauvais étage, mais immédiatement en suivant le bon ! Oh, et la descente du rez-de-chaussée au sous-sol est un peu brutale. Dans l'ensemble, c'était un bon séjour dans un bon emplacement, à seulement dix minutes à pied de la gare et de nombreux endroits où manger.

Nous sommes juste retournés d'un séjour de 3 nuits à The View. Cet hôtel dispose d'une belle localisation avec vue magnifique sur la côte de la plupart des chambres. Nous avons une salle de balcon de taille royale. La chambre avait été bien vallée avant notre arrivée et le personnel était très bienvenu. Le petit déjeuner était très bien présenté et de bonne qualité, bien que le buffet soit presque inévitable. Le service de l'hôtel est très confortable et vous avez une bonne qualité de service. Nous sommes revenus à la chambre le dimanche après-midi pour trouver la moitié vallée. J'avais saignement de la petite coupe sur la tête jusqu'au cas de la pâte. J'ai fait en sorte que je laisse le côté de la pâte pour s'assurer qu'elle n'était pas manquée. Le lit n'était pas fait et la cuillère n'était pas simplement tournée. La chambre était très belle, mais elle n'avait pas été en mesure de faire la suite. Alors, bien que l'hôtel ait de bons points, nous ne reviendrons pas.

La location est fantastique - une promenade facile de la gare, devant la mer et près de la pierre, mais aussi une courte promenade dans le centre ville. La chambre était très confortable et a été très confortable et a été très confortable. Mais j'ai eu un bon séjour et je recommanderais l'hôtel Burlington pour un très bon prix pour un séjour en argent à Eastbourne.

Nous avons séjourné dans la chambre 121 , spacieux , sans vue mais il n' y avait qu' une base , plus grand bruit de problème sur quelqu' un qui marche tôt pendant des heures , des tables de planchers squeaky , hôtel calme , autrement . Nous avons parqué bien , peut être abominable dépend du temps mais nous avons parqué à l'avant de nos deux heures , nous avons déménagé la voiture . Nous avons acheté le petit déjeuner £ 7.50 chacun , acheter de base suffisant avec toast , boissons chaudes , fruits , croissants et muffins . Personnel tout très utile et agréable , hôtel budget mais adéquat

Nous avons récemment séjourné dans cet hôtel historique magnifique sur la mer étonnante de Eastbourne. Je ne peux pas manquer la qualité de notre séjour. L'hôtel a été magnifiquement rénové et est un oasis de paix et de calme. La chambre est confortable et confortable. Nous avons séjourné dans plusieurs hôtels à Eastbourne, mais ce sont nos préférés absolus. Nous reviendrons à nouveau et à nouveau. Merci à tous les gentils personnels pour notre superbe week-end.

En raison d'un glitch, les dates que j'avais choisies ont changé quand j'avais minimisé l'écran pour trouver un code promo, et je ne l'ai pas réalisé jusqu'à confirmation de la réservation. J'ai immédiatement vu l'erreur et je suis allé au Live Chat. Le conseiller était très utile et dit que la politique de l'hôtel n'était pas pénal si elle avait été modifiée dans 10 minutes. J'avais commencé la conversation dans 3 minutes, donc pas de problème. Je suis arrêtée alors que Hotels.com contacté l'hôtel. Le 2e conseiller a été pris là où le premier a quitté, mais cette fois l'hôtel a dit non, alors que 10 minutes avaient passé. Le conseiller à Hotels.com a évolué vers un gestionnaire de l'hôtel, mais ils ne respecteraient pas leur propre politique. L'hôtel OYO Marine Parade n'a aucune intégrité et je ne voulais pas les réserver.

Upon reading past reviews, we wasn't expecting much, we arrived on the first day of the hotel reopening, well, partial reopening, and must say, compared to the images online, the hotel is on another level, smarter, clean, lovely furnishings. We was the first in the room, first to use the new furniture, first to use the new really big smart tv. When we arrived, we was greeted by the Manager, Ashley, who explained everything so clearly to us, from what's happening in the hotel, what we booked, what we can do, and the local area. A little slow to start with, but wasn't his fault, apparently a new system was implemented and he was training another staff member, we was happy to wait as we did arrive the moment they reopened their doors. Also, the team are lovely, friendly and very accommodating, nothing was too little or too big. Breakfast was amazing, pastries, yoghurt, cheese, beverages, fruit etc, again we was hosted on by Ashley, and guess what.....we was checked out by Ashley too, smooth checkout, he asked us how our stay was and wished us a good day, what an asset he is, and such a friendly and funny gentleman. We will definitely recommend and return. Do not worry about negative reviews, we really enjoyed our stay here.

Le personnel de réception est le plus désavantagé et pas le plus intéressant de donner des informations. Le prix de la vente de la maison est très bas, mais il est très bas, et il est très bas. Pas ce que nous voulions après le voyage pendant 3.5 heures. Nous sommes allés ailleurs à manger. Nous avons demandé au petit déjeuner à nous dire que nous pouvions manger dans notre chambre ou dans la bibliothèque. Nous avons choisi la bibliothèque mais il est très difficile et mauvais pour la digestion de manger un petit déjeuner chaud sur une table de salon, juste la hauteur droite pour le chien. Nous avons vraiment ressenti comme des extérieurs. Les chiens peuvent être bienvenus mais les propriétaires ne sont pas. Il faut dire que le restaurant était magnifique et je pense qu'ils se sentaient embarrassés de tout.

So this place was extremely disappointing! To say dated is being polite. We had booked a 4 night stay. Firstly we arrived and my husband had ti go find parking down a busy main road which you have to pay extra for daily. I took myself to the room only to find the smallest room I've ever seen with the smallest window, it was no bigger than a broom cupboard with the smallest window and it was so hot! There was no fan! I found out later that you have to ask for a fan! Why not leave them in the room when it's hot? It's been the hottest summer. As soon as my husband arrived, he was also little shocked and how small the room was so I called down to reception to find out if they had any bigger rooms and maybe a sea view and luckily there was one avaliable. Of we was staying just a night then I would have made the best of it. It cost another £80 for the upgrade. We went through to the bigger room with a sea view and the lady on reception brough us a fan! It becomes apparent how dated this hotel really is when the pillows on the bed are like rocks. The mattress protector is just old throws layer under the sheets. The bed was two singles pushed together and two single duvets. The beds are old and lumpy. Bearly slept over the 4 nights. The bathroom was terrible! I'm 5ft 3in and the shower over the bath was too low for me. There was hardly any water pressure. There was stains in the old tin like bath. The toilet roll was a tissue paper dispenser. Some random tiles place over the old white tiles over toilet which looked so out of place. Nowhere to put anything in the bathroom. I won't even start with the off coloured grouting. Two plugs in the whole room so had to keep uploading things whenever we used the kettle! One evening when we returned I went to use the small lift and it was full of cleaning stuff! Another occasion when leaving the room we nearly feel over the cable to the hoover which was plugged across our door and the cable was about a foot of the floor and cleaning supplies all over the floor! This hotel has nothing, no charm, no personal touches. With so many hotels in Eastbourne you'd think you'd want to stand out but I don't think anyone's cared about this place since the 80s. I don't tend to complain but for the price it wasn't worth it, you are paying for the location and not a decent room. The lady who upgraded us was lovely, she was the only good point to this place. I did laugh at the ”no smoking in this vehicle” sticker on the bath of the bathroom door.

We stayed at this hotel as we won a voucher and this was the only hotel to accept it in the area. We stayed in room 114 and feel that 3/5 is generous. Communication when booking was very delayed, the room was very tired but had everything needed. The shower head needs Limescale remover, toilet needs fixing to the floor / wall as moved every time it was used. Only 1 towel each, and no floor towel or hand towel provided - we took our own bathrobes so this wasn’t a huge problem for us but was disappointing, the mattress was very soft and the springs had gone, but more worryingly there were no mattress or pillow protectors 🤢 our room did have a balcony which you could sit out on and had a nice view of the pier, the building in front burnt down 3 years ago and there’s still scaffolding up protecting the ruins. This has opened up the view a bit more and sunrise on the day we left was lovely. Our room had doors that opened out onto the balcony which I loved. It is quite noisy being by the road and some of the guests that were staying there while we were there were annoying and loud during the night but this isn’t the hotels fault! Communal spaces were not inviting or even looked open to use including the bar! Can’t comment on breakfast as it wasn’t available when we stayed but this was advised at booking and we quite enjoyed going for a walk and choosing somewhere to eat and highly recommend Nicolettas 2 min walk behind the hotel and the Beach Deck 20 min walk out of the hotel to the left. The location is good as you’re very central but the clock on the pier ringing every 15 minutes 8am-11pm is annoying. Parking permit (£2 per day) outside the hotel is good. Behind the hotel is a good selection of eateries and the Beacon shopping centre. Overall not bad and would probably come back if these small issues were fixed

As I can see people already slagging the Carlton Hotel down. They are getting the Bar ready to install more pumps for different Drinks. They Don't serve Breakfast like listed on here on TripAdvisor. But certainly don't worry about previous reviews above about the Carlton Hotel.

Nous sommes juste retournés d'un séjour de 3 nuits à The View. Cet hôtel dispose d'une belle localisation avec vue magnifique sur la côte de la plupart des chambres. Nous avons une salle de balcon de taille royale. La chambre avait été bien vallée avant notre arrivée et le personnel était très bienvenu. Le petit déjeuner était très bien présenté et de bonne qualité, bien que le buffet soit presque inévitable. Le service de l'hôtel est très confortable et vous avez une bonne qualité de service. Nous sommes revenus à la chambre le dimanche après-midi pour trouver la moitié vallée. J'avais saignement de la petite coupe sur la tête jusqu'au cas de la pâte. J'ai fait en sorte que je laisse le côté de la pâte pour s'assurer qu'elle n'était pas manquée. Le lit n'était pas fait et la cuillère n'était pas simplement tournée. La chambre était très belle, mais elle n'avait pas été en mesure de faire la suite. Alors, bien que l'hôtel ait de bons points, nous ne reviendrons pas.

Nous avons séjourné dans la chambre 121 , spacieux , sans vue mais il n' y avait qu' une base , plus grand bruit de problème sur quelqu' un qui marche tôt pendant des heures , des tables de planchers squeaky , hôtel calme , autrement . Nous avons parqué bien , peut être abominable dépend du temps mais nous avons parqué à l'avant de nos deux heures , nous avons déménagé la voiture . Nous avons acheté le petit déjeuner £ 7.50 chacun , acheter de base suffisant avec toast , boissons chaudes , fruits , croissants et muffins . Personnel tout très utile et agréable , hôtel budget mais adéquat

Réservation de dernière minute à un bon tarif par nuit. A notre arrivée, nous avons découvert que nous avions été surclassés et qu'on nous avait donné une chambre agréable donnant sur le kiosque à musique et une vue directe sur la Manche. La pièce était chaleureuse et confortable. en fait, trop confortable quand le soleil était levé. Même si les fenêtres ne s'ouvraient pas, il y avait un ventilateur dans la pièce au cas où il deviendrait trop chaud. L'ascenseur a son propre esprit en annonçant le mauvais étage, mais immédiatement en suivant le bon ! Oh, et la descente du rez-de-chaussée au sous-sol est un peu brutale. Dans l'ensemble, c'était un bon séjour dans un bon emplacement, à seulement dix minutes à pied de la gare et de nombreux endroits où manger.

We stayed for 3 nights as a family with children under the age of 6 and had the best time. The hotel service is exceptional, every need was met. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the valet who helped us park the car and take our bags. They reserved our space for us with a board for the whole stay. The children received a kids backpack with hat, yo-yo and colouring in. We went straight down to the health club to the indoor pool. When we came out the reception said our room was now ready and collected the keys for us. Our room was a junior suite, it spotless and sizeable with drinks provided on ice and slippers for everyone. In the evening the children could order complimentary milk and cookies which they loved. The outdoor pool was heated and lovely when the sun was out, this was end of may/June. There also was a waiter serving drinks outside. The breakfast was amazing, great selection and the kids loved have every meal served with a cloche and countdown reveal. The added extras on the service make this a wonderful hotel. The positives far outweigh the negatives, I guess it could do with some new carpets and some new upholstery but the charm of the old building supersedes this and although old it was very clean. The bed mattress was ok, quite soft. The sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable but ok for young children. We will be back again!! Thank you
