The Haymarket Hotel

The hotel is located in a quiet area close to the city center (it took us 30 minutes to walk with a child from the train station). There are many different restaurants and cafes nearby, and the transportation links are excellent, with a bus and tram stop literally a 2-minute walk away, as well as the Haymarket railway station. If you plan on traveling outside Edinburgh, this would be convenient for you. The hotel serves good breakfasts with a convenient serving time from 7:30-10:00, so you can always have breakfast in the morning and go for a walk. The Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art is a 15-minute walk from the hotel. We stayed in room 63, which was clean and warm (we stayed in February), and the room was regularly cleaned. As for the downsides, I can note the size of the room and bathroom. We booked a 25m2 room, but in reality, it did not correspond to the declared size and was very small, feeling no more than 12m2. This fact disappointed me. 位置很不錯，服務態度也好，房間也挺大，早上起來後可以看到窗外的有好多小松鼠在樹上，超級可愛~~並且價格也挺划算

There are Tesco Express and restaurants nearby. The rooms are clean but quaint if you like nostalgic architecture. Servers are very polite.

The workers are really nice and kind… they will help you to carry up all the suitcase to the room. Location is good! Easy assess to tram station, bus station n also train station !! Toilet n bathroom is clean, and there is a mini fridge in ur room

Good location near to public transport. The staff are very nice and friendly. But the only thing is they only have stairs. Perfect for family's holiday

I didn't know it was legal to sell a closet as a room. SERIOUSLY the room is so small its ridiculous! Nowhere to open one's suitcase unless it's on the bed! Advertising an Iron and Ironing board is just as ridiculous...there's NOWHERE to use it. The staff were great, friendly and extremely helpful, but this couldn't make up for the excuse of a Hotel room! I have travelled to 14 countries and NEVER experienced anything like this.

I booked the room for a solo travel and the amenities were really good. The room was sufficient for a single person and was cleanly maintained. The location of the hotel is awesome, near the rail station and close to the city centre. The receptionist were polite and helped with bag storage before check-in and after check-out untill your train. Overall, the experience of staying at the place was really good.

Had a two night stay at the Haymarket hotel, very clean and rooms comfortable, staff go above and beyond especially Michael, will definitely be back
