This is a MOTEL - drive up and park infront of your room, type place. No amenities other than WiFi and that's a little slow. COX cable TV with basic channels. Very, very basic room. Microwave and Frig with little freezer comes in handy for refreezing your ice packs. Coffee only is offered at the front desk. No hair dryer, no coffee maker, no breakfast.. BARE BONES LIVING About our room - definitely is a smoking room since it smell like smoke and there's an ashtray on the table. Carpets are sticky and need cleaning, walls have peeling paint and the towel bar in the bathroom is missing the bar. Minimal soap & shampoo, 2 bath towels, one hand towel, and 2 wash cloths. No bath mat. Bed sheets were clean, but pillows were flat as pancakes to the point of why bother? Has a desk, a dresser and a table with seating for 2. Cheap date at $58 a a night ($44+tax) and they have weekly rates. This is an old school budget motel with no frills. Fine for quick stop over night or for RVers wanting to find something immediately off Hwy 40. El Reno is part of Route 66. Ok, area comparisons - we stayed across the road at a Best Western. It had 2 queen beds, very clean, extra towels and soap, 2 suitcase butlers, hair dryer, coffee maker, frig and microwave, 2 person table walk in shower, bath mat, inground pool and free hot breakfast and free coffee all day. My price with BW Membership was $82 w tax ($75 base), We figured the $25 difference for the extra bed and free breakfast for 2, made up the price difference. So, stay at Regency Inn as a pass through stay - 1 nighter and get breakfast at an area fast food place. Long term stays, pick something nicer. Since most other places have more amenities and service and we figure just breakfast alone would cost around $15-20 so short term, good deal - long term, not so much
