Efrosini Village

Well what can we say everything was just perfect.Such a beautiful place,staff exceptional,helpful,kind nothing was too much for them and worked so hard. Food tasted amazing and looked amazing.Drinks and food at a very good price.Room was lovely and kept clean every day.Sitting by the pool,just relaxing and looking at the beautiful surroundings.Met alot of lovely people and we cannot wait till we go back.

First time visitor to Kefalonia and I loved it. Will certainly be back late summer. As for Efrosini village, the rooms were superb and so well equipped. I was a bit wary that I was told the reception was the Pool area! That area with the bar and kitchen is the focal point. The owners and staff are just so friendly and helpful. The food was lovely and the drinks so reasonably priced. I spoke to many of my fellow holidaymakers and found that most were repeat visitors and also visited several times a year. I’m sure I will join them. Such a relaxing break in a beautiful location.

Efrosini village was a fabulous find. Despina and her daughter, Efronisi, are wonderful hosts, nothing is too much trouble. I stayed in room 3, which had a nice big balcony overlooking the pool. The breakfasts were great - so much to choose from, and everything freshly prepared - make sure you have the orange juice, freshly pressed from their own orange trees. Swallows were nesting in the roof of the bar area and it was lovely to watch them flying in and out and skimming the surface of the pool. The location is good - a pleasant 10 minute stroll down to the beach and the front and all the restaurants there (although only one was open when I stayed in April - fortunately it was good, Medusa). The BBQ night on the Wednesday was great - make sure you try the pasta salad. I'd been nervous about travelling solo for the first time, but I couldn't have found a friendlier place. Highly recommend (particularly if you're a cat lover - there are a lot of cats!). If you're travelling outside of peak season it makes sense to have a car - buses stop at the end of the road near the mini-market, but are infrequent in April (e.g. you can get one bus a day to Skala...but you can't get back again until the following day!).

A beautiful setting and wonderful welcoming family. If you are looking for something.away from the madding crowd this is the place. Rooms are spacious and clean with simple but enough cooking facilities. The pool and bar area have free sun loungers and seating all around the clean pool. Nothing is too much trouble. A perfect location for an authentic Greek stay. 15 minutes from ketelios. Having a car is advantageous

What a fantastic holiday. Out of season but so enjoyable. Weather was hot! Kefalonia is stunning! Hotel so friendly feels like you are part of the family. Bbq night was great! We sat playing cards by the pool eating lots of Greek food with plenty of cats 🐈 Blue sea and Medusa were open in the village. Not sure about the other tavernas but these two were lovely. We are coming back in October and can’t wait! The smell of orange blossom was amazing. So peaceful and tranquil. Loved it!

A brilliant stay in lovely studios surrounded by apple, pear and pomegranate trees. The pool was lovely and Despina and Fotis were very welcoming and helpful and Fotis cooking was memorable with large portions of tasty food. The beach is a 10 minute walk down and a 20 minute walk back up again. Katelios,is a pretty resort with a sandy beach and a few tavernas and shops. Highly recommended and I hope to return sometime.

Having stayed at Effrosini Village a few years ago, we visited again last week. It did not disappoint, as beautiful as ever. Spotlessly clean, nice room , fresh towels daily! Friendly owners and staff , so helpful. Fotis is an amazing chef, his food is wonderful .Lovely pool area. We go to Kefalonia quite often and have stayed in other places, but this one is hard to beat. Will definetly return again . Thankyou Despina and family , love to Effrosini

Having been to Katelios twice before and loving it so much, this time we booked at Efrosini Village and found that we had made an excellent choice. We were celebrating our Silver Wedding anniversary while we were there and John was so friendly, helpful and informative about the room options available via email prior to our visit. We were overjoyed when we were shown to our room, Rook 3 - it was spacious and in a separate building to our 1 nearest neighbour, meaning we enjoyed privacy on the balcony. The balcony overlooked the beautiful gardens, the pool, open countryside and to the side, mountains. The room was spotlessly clean at all times. The bar and its staff, Fotis, Despina and evening staff were wonderful. The pool area is stunning and we enjoyed watching the families and children enjoying the pool - there are plenty of inflatable toys for children to use. As a couple however, rather than a family, we chose to spend our days on the beach. We were totally relaxed at Efrosini and came back fully recharged. Absolutely lovely place, lovely people and great location. Rooms are excellent (especially duplex), great pool with jacuzzi in a really beautiful setting. Food from pool bar is great, Fotis’ omelettes are famous for good reason. I really can’t think of a negative after staying and visiting a number of times. Look forward to returning.
