Boutique Hotel Bijou

Great location, very near to the train station, so very convenient. I found the staff very friendly. It was clean. The roof terrace was a bonus. Lovely breakfast selection. Good value, and would stay again.

Wonderful staff! So kind and helpful. I really cannot emphasize this one enough -- the gentleman at the front desk was absolutely lovely and both the woman who ran breakfast and the woman who cleaned the rooms were so nice. We were able to check in a bit early because our room was ready. We were able to leave our bags when we checked out since our train was later. The hotel has an excellent varied breakfast and plenty of tables. Nicely decorated rooms and comfortable beds. Everything feels new and updated. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Good wifi and air conditioning The roof terrace was a bonus. Good location--5 minute walk to station and within 15 minute walk of almost every attraction in the city. Putting everything else aside, the combination of staff, breakfast and location make it easy to recommend this hotel. Disliked · The only negative was the size of the room and bathroom. Both were quite tight for 4 people. The beds were well laid out and a good closet area provided, but once 4 suitcases and backpacks were in there, there wasn't much room to move around. Same with the bathroom. Also tough that there was no backboard to the bed, so not comfortable to spend a lot of time in the room -- which we had to because of the extreme heat. All of this said, for a 2 night stay we were comfortable enough, especially considering all the positives.

This hotel is in a terrible neighborhood. Homeless tents are right in front of the hotel and the smell of urine is pervasive. Just trying to get into or out of my car for loading/unloading, a homeless person jumped in front of my car and started yelling and cussing at me. I am empathetic for the homeless, but to be afraid to walk into the hotel entrance is too much.

Simple hotel, good breakfastand kind and helpful staffs. We've stayed there for a night on over journey in Europe and we liked the location, value for what we paid..en suite with breakfast for less than €40!

Had a very nice stay here. It is a short few minute walk from the train station. Quaint tiny elevator takes you to the 3rd floor and reception is welcoming and helpful, fluent in English. Large clean room, excellent bathroom. Huge and varied breakfast included, with patio overlooking neighborhood in the breakfast dining room. I've stayed in several places in Florence, but for convenient location near the train station, sevice and cleanliness, this can't be beat. A solid 4.5 stars.

Nicely located hotel and with breakfast. The staff and especially the man at the reception were really welcoming and very helpful. Really good value for money. We spend a wonderful holiday. Thank you very much.

The most welcoming stay in Italy. All hosts are amazing and provided excellent customer service. Helping us with reservations before we arrived to recommendations throughout our trip and to finding solutions on how to best ship our many bottles of wine home. They made us feel like we were home away from home. Thank you very much guys! The location was so central and it was so easy to access all the sights. The room was perfect and clean. We will definitely be staying here every time we are back in Florence.

Ottima struttura, adatta x ragazzi, pulitissima, pecca x la colazione! Per essere un 3 stelle, va bene; ma se arrivo e trovo il piatto vuoto dea crostata, va reintegrato! X 2 gg ho mangiato il ciambellone xche era la cosa che non finita dagli altri ospiti! Il cibo cotto dovrebbe essere tenuto caldo, lo Yogurt potrebbe essere di più gusti!! Insomma con un po più di accortezza sarebbe veramente eccellente. Ah! Dimenticavo non c'è il bidet in bagno😣 Cmq buona vacanza a tutti 😉

Abbiamo soggiornato in 4 ( 2 adulti e 2 bambini) all'interno di questo hotel per una notte di passaggio per Firenze. L' hotel ha un'ottima posizione strategica che consente di raggiungere a piedi in pochissimo tempo le maggiori attrazioni turistiche del centro, la camera è piccolina ma comoda, il bagno potrebbe essere più attrezzato. Il personale è gentilissimo, in particolare il ragazzo della reception, la colazione abbondante e variegata. Consigliato per famiglie e brevi soggiorni .
